Interview with Oshun MI
I’m originally from Nigeria and moved here to pursue acting . But somehow I drew so much inspiration from music and it became my solace so I decided to also make a career out of it. But I’ve done a couple commercials and films and currently working towards making my television debut. Music is like therapy to me and it relieves me. I’m still learning and taking it day by day but so far the journey has been incredible and I’m about to release two new singles.
Love Music : Please tell us more about your new music ‘Take You’?
Take you is a mixture of pop and Afro beats. African style of music. I love this new dimension because I can be myself and not have to try to sound different or American which is something I have to do a lot when it comes to acting. I really just let myself go in this new single and it felt really great!

DeAndre talks about his new debut EP Favors Ft N.A.P. in candid interview
Love Music : Please tell us about yourself & why you decided to work as singer/songwriter?
Hi, my name is DeAndre, I’m from Boston where I work as a restaurant manager. I’ve always knew that I wanted to become a professional singer songwriter, the decision was made I guess back in Junior High, and now having all the attributes to take my work to a larger audience.
Love Music : We been hearing a lot about you, so we notice your starting to gain a lot of attention how does it feel?
It feels amazing, sometimes it feels unreal, but I’ve worked hard towards getting myself where I am now. People start to notice my work and my talent. Online I’m gaining more attention and I’m just grateful for all that. It feels amazing.
Love Music : Please tell us more about your new release Debut-Single "Favors (feat N.A.P.) " ?
My new release Favors is part of the album I’m working on, called Lost In The Details. Favors is about friends, friendships, and meeting new people. To put it in a cliché, some people you meet for a moment, and some for a lifetime. It tells the story about my friends, and new people I meet every day, something people can relate to for sure.
Love Music : What motivates you to do your best work as a producer?
The reviews and comment that pour in is my biggest motivator to create my best work as a producer. People are saying nice things about my voice, the tune, the rhythm, the production, etc… and I would not want to disappoint my fans. That is another motivation to do my best as a producer.
Love Music : Who are your musical inspirations?
Household names like Drake, Kayne West, Jay-Z are some that inspire my music, to name a few. My role model and musical inspiration must come from J. Cole for his style, his art, and his talent.
Love Music : Do you have any advice for anyone wanting to be a professional musician ?
Yes, I would say, do the leg work and register your work for protection. Put out professional work and present that to as many listeners as possible, and take notes when receiving constructive criticism. Self-promotion and marketing is often overlooked, but a big part to get your work heard.
Love Music : What are your future plans ? Your vision for the coming years.
Short term plans is shooting a music video, establishing my brand DeAndre4Stackz and a merchandise line, and signing young artists for my record label SubCulture Records.
Love Music : If you could perform anywhere, in the world, where would it have to be?
Anywhere where my work is appreciated. But if I have to choose a place I dream of, that would be Madison Sq.
Love Music : Everybody needs time out. What do you do in your free time?
Everybody does need time out, to decompress and reflect on thoughts. My way of doing that is videogames. It’s a way for me to replenish my energy.
Love Music : Are you active on social media? what’s the best way to follow you ?
Yes, as an independent artist, I have to stay connected and interact with my fans on various platforms. People can find out more about me on my website www.deandre4stackz.com and follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. My handle those platforms is @deandre4stackz or they can do a Google search for deandre4stackz to find the platform they are connected on.

Favors (feat N.A.P.) by DeAndre
DeAndre is an American musician, singer- songwriter and Boston based record producer, who is best known as the lead vocalist and principal songwriter of Capiche, Ghetto Cabana, Paper Trail, and Favors to name a few. He is also known for his collaborations with artists from Massachusetts including N.A.P. and Javi and for his DIY Hip-Hop, R&B, Rap label Sub Culture Inc Records (@SubCultureInc) which DeAndre co-founded with his late brother Joey. #RipMyBrotherJoey
DeAndre achieved commercial success at the City Hall Plaza Puerto Rican Festival of Massachusetts covered by TUS Noches TV. The Puerto Rican Festival of Massachusetts is considered the largest Hispanic event in New England, with over 185,000 attendees during a three day celebration.
His brand of passionate delivery with vivid stories, clever wordplay and occasional dark humor may not be for everyone, but his one-man operation: written, performed, recorded and released with a do-it-yourself guerrilla mentality made it possible to find its audience.
Prior to his solo career, DeAndre and Javi performed in the indie Hip-Hop duo javi & deandre (a unique sound-blend of Hip-Hop, R&B, and Rap)
DeAndre is currently recording new material and will be releasing his debut EP in 2018.
Favors - DeAndre (Feat N.A.P)
– "This is such an original song. the instrumentals are unique and they sound great. Rap and lyrics sound well thought out and the flow is there. I could hear this on the radio. It's nice chill rap music to listen too. A great song. Chorus is not bad either." –

ITAMAR BOROCHOV releases his critically acclaimed album BOOMERANG in the United States!
World-renowned Jazz trumpet player,
ITAMAR BOROCHOV, has received serious critical acclaim for both his first album
Outset and his recent one Boomerang in Europe. Released on the prestigious
Laborie Jazz Label, Boomerang features original compositions by Itamar Borochov
and unorthodox arrangements of traditional folk-melodies. It’s no wonder why
Borochov has been lighting up the stages of the most important Jazz festivals
and venues around the world.
This much anticipated release in the US
market goes with the new wave of blending Jazz with other cultures and fashion.
Itamar Borochov is no stranger to this tradition as he melts his Jazz
compositions with Middle Eastern musical traditions, and recently starred in
the new Stella Artois commercial
Itamar Borochov brings a unique sound with him wherever he goes. Deeply immersed in the jazz tradition, Borochovʼs search for his personal roots resulted in an ever-expanding love for Arab and Pan African musical sensibilities – a natural palette for a trumpeter-composer raised in Jaffa, an integrated Muslim-Jewish-Christian city.

After working with such legendary artists
as Curtis Fuller and Candido Camero, and having served as arranger and
co-producer for acclaimed world music sensation Yemen Blues, Borochov set out
on his own path. His critically acclaimed recording Outset was included in the
New York City Jazz Record’s Best of 2014 List, and his latest album Boomerang,
has already received serious critical acclaim, and peaked at #5 on iTunes’ Jazz
Download chart, and #6 on Amazon’s Jazz Download Chart, and was chosen as “revelation"
on Jazz Magazine. Audiences worldwide are falling for his enchanting sound and
virtuosic expression.
Borochov has performed internationally at
such prestigious venues and festivals as Lincoln Center (NY), The Kennedy
Center, (Washington DC), Montreal Jazz Festival, and the Moscow Jazz Festival,
to name just a few.
Boomerang, was completed in Paris in
December 2015, mixed in New York by award-winning engineer Brian Montgomery
(Paul McCartney, Esperanza Spaulding, Donald Fagen, Herbie Hancock), and is his
label debut for acclaimed French label Laborie Jazz. Boomerang features his
extraordinarily quartet of pianist Michael King, bassist Avri Borochov, and
drummer Jay Sawyer. The four have toured widely and frequently, resulting in a
telepathic cohesiveness and devotion, and many inspired performances the world
over. Guesting on the record, on jumbush and
vocals, is Itamar’s father, and acclaimed
Israeli composer, Yisrael Borochov.
Itamar Borochov, quickly gaining
international recognition as a jazz innovator, continues his musical quest,
offering on Boomerang a music that reflects a rich global landscape seen
firsthand, through the jazz tradition.
“Borochov is extending the jazz tradition
out of the resources of the tradition itself. Around the turn of the 20th
century, Jelly Roll Morton was talking about the "Latin tinge," and
in the late 40's Dizzy Gillespie joined forces with Chano Pozo to make the
Afro-Cuban classic, "Manteca." In the 1960's Horace Silver got in
touch with his Cape Verdean roots in "Song for My Father," and so on.
As Borochov notes, "Bebop was the highest of musical art forms, the first
'world music' ─ integrated, tribal, sophisticated, and down home soulful. What
I'm doing now, bringing my sound to the jazz idiom isn't so different from what
Dizzy did. I'm progressing by reconnecting to the roots and taking it to the
now and to the future.” – Boomerang by Dr. Aryeh Tepper.

Rapper Angello Black Wants Listeners To Take A Sip Of His Hot New Single "Copa"
Scottsdale, Arizona’s own Latin
hip-hop crossover artist Angello Black
dropped his latest song Copa (Cup) . Originally hailing from
Virginia, the
first generation rapper/musician became
enamored with the idea of a career in music at the age of 14 after having a
vivid dream about becoming a performer. At the same age he was inspired to hone
his craft by listening to the hip-hop artists of that time such as Jay Z, Eminem and Young Jeezy
who are considered legendary MC's today.
Over the years Black
has crafted a very diverse modern style that is a mix of Latin EDM and hip-hop while
he frequently spits rhymes with ease in both English and Spanish. He has also
been methodically developing his brand working with other up and coming music
artists while also being heavily involved in producing music tracks for
television, social media and film. Black
sees himself as morphing into a mogul in the music industry similar to
other savvy triple threat performers turned music moguls like Dr. Dre and Black's childhood idol Jay Z. Black sees his future as being a talent well known for producing, writing and performing – “a connoisseur to the business side of the music industry”, he says.
Angello Black’s song Copa (Cup) produced and written by Black, Izzy Neutron, and DJ Shaw T is in reference to the value of women being more than just a trophy or arm candy. Black explains, “It’s about beautiful, independent hardworking women. The go-getters. The ones that want a successful man as their companions. “
Copa floods is available on ITunes and throughout digital media platforms.
