I have always been into music & feeling the need to produce at an early age after being inspired my producers such as Mr Fingers & Todd Terry in the early 90’s I now feel after 10 years of producing Im finally where I want to be with the standard’s needed for house music



Love Music : We been hearing a lot about you and your music, so we notice your starting to gain a lot of attention how does it feel?

Its great getting more fans from across the globe contacting me via social site. Im feeling inspired with my fans kind words. This wants me to make an even better track for them with ever release.

 
Love Music : Please tell our readers more about your latest remix that you did out with Universal music Entertainment ?
 
This is a throw back to oldskool Piano house - Hed Kandi style. I feel this track had not been remixed this way & was well over due.

 
Love Music : What do you feel when UME giving you the task to remix it ( Jodeci Freek 'n' you ( Acqora remix ) ?

Words can not describe the excitement running through me I just needed to make it perfect for them.

 
Love Music : What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far ?

Remixing for the worlds biggest record label on their ( Remix the classics ) compilation CDS. Under Universal music entertainment (UME)

 
Love Music : What kind of training have you had, if any ?
 

Night college for 2 years work on Logic. I then was able to buy my own recording studio set up & 8 years later its grown to a production suite.

 
Love Music : Did you choose this industry, as a career, or as a hobby? 

This is still a hobby for me. I work full time as a property developer whilst hopefully looking to get my own original work signed to a major label 1 day

 
Love Music : What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next?

Giving up my day job to be signed to a major label & be a full time music producer -

I enjoy keeping fit & going on family holidays.

A Conversation with International Recording Artist Whitney Wyatt

Love Music : Please introduce yourself to the readers and Who or what inspired you to become a recording artist?

My name is Whitney Wyatt. I am a singer/song writer in Tennessee. I don’t know that I ever had one specific instance that inspired me to be a recording artist. I grew up in a musical family and that was inspiring. I have always wanted to be a singer ever since I can remember. Growing up I sang at church and school musicals, and I started recording around 16 years old. I remember the feeling I had working on my very first recording project. It was this feeling of complete fulfillment and joy, and I just knew what I’m meant to do.


Love Music : We been hearing a lot about you, so we notice your starting to gain a lot of attention for your music, how does it feel?

It feels good to know that people are enjoying what I’m sharing. It’s scary to bare your soul to the world and put yourself out there. You don’t know how people will respond. So it’s humbling and exciting to know that people actually enjoy it, and want to be apart of what you’re creating. It’s just a great sense of confirmation in what I’m doing with my music.


Love Music : Please tell our readers more about your songs and which would you say you are most known for?

The songs I’ve been performing are jazz standards from the 1920s-50s. That era really inspires me, and I enjoy singing the music. It fits my voice really well. I sing a lot of French songs from that time period. I try to pick the ones people will recognize, but I perform them closer to their original style rather than the Americanized versions. I would say “La Vien Rose” is a popular song of mine. Love Music : We understand you sing in several different languages can you tell our readers what languages you sing in? Is it hard to sing in these different languages?

I enjoy singing in French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Swedish. I regularly perform in French, and I would like to incorporate the other languages. I was a vocal performance major in college, and I regularly sang in all these languages for 5 years. I rarely ever sang in English. I grew very fond of singing in other languages, and enjoyed the challenge of delivering an emotion through the language barrier. I wouldn’t say it’s difficult for me to sing in other languages because I find it fascinating. It’s something that I’m passionate about and have always enjoyed.


Love Music : Do you write your own music? How do you decide what music is the right fit  for you?

I do write my own music. I know a song is a right fit if it’s fun for me to sing, and I connect with it emotionally. I want to feel something from the song, so I can convey that emotion to whoever is listening.


Love Music : What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far ?

I would say getting signed to CK Talent Management. It’s very exciting to be in partnership with someone who will help raise the platform of my influence.


Love Music : We see you have been in a few episodes of the TV Show Nashville, what do you find exciting about acting? Tell us some of your experiences and stories from being on the set?

I find acting to be a fun outlet for my imagination. It helps me gain insight into different perspectives that may not be my own. It’s also fascinating to be on set and see the whole behind the scenes process. There was one scene we were shooting at this mansion in Bellemeade. It was supposed to be some music industry party. They had all the doors open in the house and it was like 30 degrees outside, it was freezing! And I had this cocktail dress and high heels on. We had to dance and chat in complete silence so they could get the audio of the actors in the room. One of the actors was Oliver Hudson. It was just so crazy being in the same room of this actor that I had seen in movies growing up.


Love Music : What kind of training have you had, if any in acting or music?

I have years of training in singing. I started taking lessons when I was 14 years old. I then continued taking lessons at the collegiate level through my vocal performance degree. I was in drama class in high school, and acted in all the school plays and musicals. I also took an acting class in college.


Love Music : What’s your goal in life and you want to achieve next?

My goal in life is to be a professional musician for my full time job. I want to be able to reach as many people as possible with my music whether it’s through singing or teaching. My current goal is to play more live shows to build up my following.


Love Music : Did you choose the music and acting industry, as a career, or as a hobby?

I chose music as a career, I have always wanted to be a singer ever since I can remember. I’ve worked jobs in other industries, but I’ve never questioned the fact that I want to make a career in the music industry.


Love Music : Everybody needs time out to relax. What do you do in your free time?

What free time? I find it extremely relaxing and satisfying spending quality time with my close friends. Whether it’s a phone call, coffee date, or drinks out on the town. I find it necessary to my sanity to keep up with my friends and their lives. I also really enjoy doing yoga and of course Netflix and Hulu. They have some pretty great shows, I am currently enjoying and escaping into “The Crown” or “Arrested Development” or “Empire” in my free time.


Love Music : Are you active on social media? What is the best way for our readers to follow you ?

Yes I am. I would probably say Instagram, although whatever I post to Instagram goes out to my Twitter and Facebook. So any one of those is good is a good place to connect with me. I also have a Reverbnation account where you can go to listen to some of my music!

We had the opportunity to interview famous artistic Director & the founder  of ” FogoAzul NYC ” Stacy Kovacs to talk about the best women’s Brazilian drumming group history and reasons behind the leave Batala NYC.

 
Love Music : Please introduce yourself to the readers and Who or what inspired you to get into this profession?

My name is Stacy Kovacs and I’m the founder and artistic Director of FogoAzul NYC! We’re New York city’s only all women Brazilian samba band, marching band, and drumline!  I’ve been playing music since I was a child. I’ve been in marching bands and music group’s as long as I can remember. I was inspired to start my own all Women’s group in 2011 when I saw Batala for the first time. I started Batala New York City in 2012, and in summer 2016 left the Batala organization and rebranded to my current group, FogoAzul NYC. I am inspired by Brazilian rhythms and spreading this music as far and wide as possible.

 
Love Music : We been hearing a lot about you, and your all women’s Brazilian drumming group, so we notice your starting to gain a lot of attention how does it feel?

It feels great! It was a lot of working making the transition. We built a strong social media and fan base in the old group and took it to FogoAzul NYC. We had a lot of great performances as Batala New York City and we are looking forward to building on the reputation I built as musical director with the bookers and people of NYC. Spreading this amazing music is an honor and we love doing it!

 
Love Music : What is the history of FogoAzul NYC ?

FogoAzul NYC has been in my brain for about 2 years.  FogoAzul NYC is part samba band, part marching band, and a BIG part drumline. In July 2016, Dany Johnson and I officially left Batala NYC, along with about a dozen others to continue the tradition of all women drumming playing Brazilian music.  We’re now part of the Grooversity network which is the innovative and creative drumming system that Marcus Santos has developed for education and entertainment purposes.  It promotes community outreach and social change by targeting diversity awareness. This multi-city percussion project is creating a network of people.  Grooversity’s network includes people of different ethnicities, ages, and races. It portrays a positive message by engaging communities to appreciate diversity, support civil rights, encourage self-esteem, and most importantly, enjoyment.  The Grooversity system is Marcus’ original drumming compositions based on the traditional Afro Brazilian rhythms, which he has combined with a world music perspective and a modern approach. Grooversity is fun, interactive and inclusive. Every person and instrument is equally important and essential for the ensemble. Some patterns are intricate and challenging for the most experienced professional drummer, and others are simpler yet equally important patterns for the amateur player. In fact, the simplest patterns are the most important components of the ensemble because they keep the other elements together.  FogoAzul NYC subscribed to this method of learning and supports the mission!

Love Music : What projects do you have coming up ?

On December 21st we’re doing Make Music NY Winter, called Parranda de Inverno.  The public is invited to travel through midtown Manhattan in a parade of rhythm and dance! Participants are encouraged to bring their Brazilian percussion instruments, or simply look, listen, and walk with FogoAzul NYC. The drumline will make its way around Midtown Manhattan, passing through 46th Street’s Little Brazil and the festive plazas along 6th Avenue.

We’re also booked for the annual Barrio Three Kings Day parade, the Lunar New Year Parade, multiple events during Women’s History Month, and many other spring time events including already being booked for multiple Pride Celebrations in June.

 
Love Music : Why did you leave Batala NYC?

I left Batala NYC for a few reasons.  Being a director of a Batala group was fun, but musically stifling. I was not allowed to stray from the global group’s repertoire, nor add different instruments to the band. I learned a ton from Batala and had been given many opportunities to travel through it.  In Januray 2016, I decided I wanted to leave Batala but there were no musically qualified women in the group to take over. In July 2016, pure luck found me, and there was a mutiny by a few of the women in Batala.  Sensing my desire to leave, they went behind my back to our maestro, Giba Gonçalves to start another Batala in New York. . He ultimately said no. What ensued was a few weeks of cat fighting within the group, splitting of the group, behavioral problems, backstabbing, lying, manipulating, and gas lighting of newer members of the group by veteran members.  I tried for a short period to keep it going, but realized the group itself as it was, was imploding.  With this destruction of the group, these women did me a favor by giving me an easy out! I stepped down, and I subsequently took the drums I owned and started a different group! I now have as much music and artistic freedom as I desire, as well as a 5 year history of relationship building with event planners and promoters in the NYC area.  There’s a group still called Batala in NYC.  They were offered the name, all the social media, and half of the drums, but opted to completely attempt to erase Batala NYC and myself from history by starting another Batala under a different name.  Unfortunately, you can’t erase history!

 
Love Music : What kind of training have you had, if any ?

My training started on piano when I was about 6-7 years old. I then started playing drums in school band at age 8.  In high school I switched to trombone.  I ended up heading to Michigan State University to play trombone in the Spartan Marching band.  After college, I let music go to pursue a career in medicine.  Upon moving to New York City in 2005, I joined multiple marching bands.  I started samba drumming and from there my Brazilian drumming career took off!

 
Love Music : If you could perform anywhere, in the world, where would it have to be?

My goal is to perform at Radio City Music Hall in NYC.  My ultimate dream is to play for, or with, or even better open for Madonna!

 
Love Music : What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far ?

One of the most exciting achievements of my career so far has been playing in the FIFA Women’s World cup championship celebration at City Hall in Manhattan.  Gloria Steinhem was in the front row.  I got to meet her and talk to her.  She blew kisses at me after the performance!!  Other notable things have been opening for the Rolling Stones on their 50th Anniversary Tour, playing with Lorde and Disclosure on Saturday Night Live, and Batala having a cameo in the TMNT 2016 Summer blockbuster movie.

 
Love Music : Everybody needs time out. What do you do in your free time?

In my free time i work in a hospital!  I am a Physician Assistant in a major NYC emergency room.  When I’m not working or playing music, I decompress by sitting in coffee shops and reading or surfing the web.

Progressive Metal-Rockers Relinquished increases Popularity on US Spotify and Present new single sinister dreams and a New Album for 2017.

Some of you already might know this guys, others should not missing this news. Relinquished a progressive Metal and Rock Band from Austria recently increased their popularity on US Spotify and now we have to announce the release of their new single „Sinister Dreams“ on NRT-Records. Alllthought Sinister Dreams isn’t a new Song and was released in january 2014 as an music video on Youtube, the Band and their new label decided to release it as a single on december the 9th, 2016. Sinister Dreams was only released on youtube, not on an Album, neither on a single or EP.


Relinquished’s Music Videos are simply Art and Art is their Music. Combining various styles of Metal , but also some emotional tracks like sinister dreams, Their both Studio Records „Susanna Lies In Ashes“ and „Onward Anguishes“ paved the way to the future of the Band. Relinquished’s studio albums typical are concept albums which tells an entire story, chapter by chapter.
