I really was digging the beat when I heart it, I have a remix coming out with Rapper Youry soon. We shall see.
Love Music: What's the reason behind choose this name for your single?
Because the beat when I bought it was originally called “I Want You” - I thought of changing the want to love and calling it “I Love You” didn’t seem to make much sense because I’m not sure who the word you would of been pertaining too. You know… ha.
Love Music: What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far ?
I wanted to get verified by the end on SoundCloud at the very least and I did by it in about 3 weeks. This year was brutal I’m grateful for everything I have in my life. I also am stoked about being on BillboardHipHop.
Love Music: What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next?
I am my biggest fan and my biggest hater but I would really like to focus on making sure all my debts are paid and I am just comfortable and secure and finish up my business degree so I can finish what I started.
Love Music: What motivates you to do your best work?
A higher purpose.
Love Music: Did you choose this industry, as a career, or as a hobby?
It’s the only thing I get satisfaction out of. Unfortunately, the creative curse runs in my family because my mother and my grandfather also perform and make music and have for years and years. I believe my grandmother on my father’s side was an opera singer when she was young and she loved it from what I gather. My step father has played the keys for I believe almost 60 years now.

I go through phases. Not sure if somehow maybe externally inclined to or naturally. Nevertheless, to answer the question right now I have been listening to a song called Dirt by Dream Drop on repeat.

Who isn’t? I have to manage literally - and I’m not exaggerating over 100+ different social media sites of all kinds and it is draining. Being fully independent and still relevant is not for the weak willed or weak of heart. People who make music always want people to just check them out but that’s not what it’s about. It’s about listening more than talking. Always learning what the culture has to offer and what you could learn to become better at what you do.
We were formed as a band in 2015. StIM and Bill knew each other since they were kids, and they shared their passion for music through different projects. However, not until they met their main guitarist Jim, could the band style take shape. Bill Melachroinos and Jason joined a little while after into the setup, quite smoothly.
As a band, we want to create our music, coming through the mix of different music passions and backgrounds between members. We range from classical and jazz, to folk and traditional, and of course our common affection for alternative rock sounds.
Love Music: Anything you want to share with us about your music?
Whilst it might not seem original, we want to create our music in order to pass our message. Our first EP was more experiential, focusing on feelings and moments from our lives, while this FL album, Choose, expands on this with the implementation of other social messages we want to share, regarding the digitalisation of the society, the actual cost of money, etc.
Love Music: Can you please tell our readers more about your debut album?
Of course! Choose was created as a concept back in 2018, however due to difficulties in scheduling, it was not finalised until early 2021. The style develops on our previous EP, Lucius, bringing new ideas from Blues and Rock genre into the mix. We focused on bringing the emotional experience in front, at each one of the songs, ranging from shadiness to affection and to rage and eventually positiveness, all along. Along with the album we created the music video for one of the songs, Bourbon Skies, which shares a rather hopeful message in the end (it’s not a secret, but you can check it on your own via our link)
Love Music: Any upcoming project?
We are already preparing our next video clip for the song Digital Sea, at the same time we are ready to start the recordings of our second album which is gonna be ready for next year, But currently we focus on sharing CHOOSE via different means (radios, blogs social media etc) and of course we prepare for the promo tour of it, with gigs in late 2021 - early 2022, so stay tuned!

We are on our first steps as a band,yet with so much experience between members, we believe the most exciting achievements came when we actually realised we could combine our personalities to create our music.

We found out that during these years, when many difficulties arose, we as band members were next to each other, and this turns out to be the most motivating factor between us.

Of course, we are on all platforms : facebook, instagram, tweeter, you name it! We try to be as socially active as possibly, and the fact is that we prefer to handle our own accounts rather than having a social media manager (which is in fashion these days).
It is from the Latin word meaning Basking in the warmth of the sun. It suited the Canadian climate especially thinking about the winter.
Which famous musicians do you admire? Why?
Kate Bush, female vocalists such as Garbage’s Shirley Mason, Alanis Morrissette, and Blondie’s Debbie Harry, Amy Lee I love! I enjoy their passionate storytelling performances.
When and why did you start singing?
I grew up listening to music. It was always playing, more so than TV. I enjoy it and if I can be part of it, I wanted to. It’s an appreciation. I used to run around with a hairbrush as a microphone infront of the mirror. From then I went on to singing in public, shows and a few TV shows as a child. I auditioned for Top Of The Pops and was told I was too young !
What makes this kind of music “good” to you?
What can I say I am a fan of the 90’s rock alternative and of course listening to the flashback 80’s songs. Definitely where I pull an influence from.

My last and first work!
This is my debut single (All My lies) Followed up by the second release (TheFear) from my upcoming EP that will be coming out in The single is dark , hitting on points about others having expectations they feel you need to live up to. You choose your own path and not what someone else wants from you. Be true to yourself.
How do you feel about the internet in the music business?
Great questions. I am sure everyone has a different view point and feeling. It is the future I believe, which has it’s good points and bad. Social media in this day and age, is a huge part of everything in life. It is a great marketing tool and a way to reach people all over the world. You can make connections quickly. It is a great way to reach out to your fans, especially during this year with the Pandemic. Online concerts, virtual meetings…huge part of this year. Social Media platforms have given musicians more control over the distribution of their music I do believe. Whether this is going to become the way the industry is going…time will tell. I believe we have to be adaptable to be successful.
What are the plans for the future?
I see myself continuing along this path. I am hoping I will be able to successfully tour, depending on the world situation. What matters is to be happy in what you are doing and to continue to grow and learn I have a willingness and commitment to improve myself.
Could you briefly describe the music-making process?
It is dependent upon the song and needs of that song. Currently I am very lucky with amazing song writers and a top notch Producer and team, Thomas (my producer) has pushed me to strive for a consistent level of excellence. He was tough but in the nicest of ways. He was constantly pushing me to be better, and honestly, that’s exactly what I wanted to get out of this experience.
Would you rather be on a major label or would you rather stay independent?
I want to make success on my own terms when I make realistic achievable plans and use my determination to follow through. Whether I stay independent or team up with a label, there are so many deciding facts around both. What’s right for me might not be for someone else. A lot of thought will go into a decision made.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
This year has been most difficult, not just on myself but everyone due to the pandemic. I have never experienced anything like this. This year has been challenging for everyone. I’m working to finish recording my debut EP and
I am just trying to stay focused and hope that we can get back to being some kind of normal? Through this last year and a half I have met so many talented people I have been able to work with. It’s uplifting. It has kept me going.

I have always had an affinity for music. From hearing my first Beatles song to Van Halen, I loved the guitar and started playing at an early age. I went to college for sound recording technology and started working in the music industry in New York City right out of college. I was remastering older music from well named artists like Johnny Cash and Tony Bennett. From there I started my own company Xtream Audio and had a lot of success working on 3 Grammy nominated and topping various charts with my clients. I had national jingles airing on TV. I started a band called A&L finding success in the UK charting 9 times on various Indie music charts and reaching the top 20 8 times.
Love Music: We been hearing a lot about you, so we notice your starting to gain a lot of attention how does it feel?
It feels good! I have been working at this for a while and feel that my efforts are starting to pay off. I am playing the long game and am strategically working the promotion aspect to gain lasting connections and coverage.
Love Music: Can you please tell our readers more about 'Emotional Lockdown'?
Emotional Lockdown is my first solo effort in over 20 years. This music endeavor was born during the Covid lockdown. “I am always working on other people’s musical projects. The lockdown gave me the time and mental fortitude to start writing music. Locked in my studio, Music was my main outlet to deal with the isolation. I composed over a dozen songs. A guitarist by trade, this musical release is a new venture, The songs are pop/EDM in style with flourishes of rock guitar. Having more than enough for an EP, I split up the songs with more radio-friendly songs going on the EP and the others for my live DJ set.
Love Music: Any upcoming project?
I am always working on various musical projects for other people. I am going to concentrate on this release for the next few months.
Love Music: What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far ?
That is a tough question. I have been so fortunate to have worked with so many great people on so many amazing projects. Working on Grammy nominated albums is a career highlight. Hearing my music in soap operas and on nations commercials is always a thrill.
Love Music: What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next?
Just to be a positive, good person.
Love Music: What motivates you to do your best work as a music producer?
I think being OCD when it comes to my production, there is no excuse to not fixing any issues. If you hear it and it is wrong or bothers you or a client, fix it. It has never been easier to make corrections and changes to your music using the latest programs.

I feel you don’t choose music, it chooses you. How you accept this internal pull is up to you. I choose it as a career.

I like to be near water. Swimming, boating or a drink on the beach. I also love to read music biographies.

I started singing at 9 months old. My mom let me know that I would frequently claim to have a past-life as an Italian opera singer. Instead of first words, I had a first song, "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star." I reference the "Twinkle, Twinkle" part of the song in one of my latest releases, "Rich & Beautiful." My "Rich & Beautiful" lyrics list some of my early inspirations, such as Madonna, as a way to pay homage to them. Back to the point, the road from changing from the natural 9 month old singer into a recording artist, is a story that I am turning into a book. I was inspired to follow the footsteps of Mikel Jollett, of the indie-rock band "The Toxic Airborne Event," whose amazing memoir I just finished reading. (I highly recommend to musicians looking for inspiration.) Hopefully, in the next couple of years, my own book will be out with the long and detailed story. For now I'll summarize, I was a good little choir girl, until bullying and cattiness over my voice took me on a different path. I opted to take one-on-one voice lessons with a chair of "The San Antonio Company" in order to regain confidence in my voice. The lessons eventually led to a music scholarship in college, where I ran into someone studying to be a producer. I wrote and recorded a first song, "Run." It was a haphazard student production for a student-film project. Although my song was just a school project, it was seriously reviewed by a popular local pop-culture newspaper in town, "The Current." From there, I steadily started recording and songwriting. Here I am now...
Love Music: We have been hearing a lot about you, so we notice your starting to gain a lot of attention how does it feel?
Like coming out of a cocoon. For the majority of my experimental songwriting, I was the ugly caterpillar wobbling my way around. I'm not quite "the butterfly," but I feel like I am close. I've gotten past the "invisible phase." I want to address the "invisible phase" because it is an FAQ message I have been asked by people starting their own creative journeys. This "invisible phase" occurs when an artist just gets started and no one has heard of them. It is nothing to worry about. Most likely, feeling invisible is due to not having much work in terms of music, art, or preforming. The "invisible phase" is a blessing in disguise. It allows for major creative freedom without the pressure of an audience. Attracting a big audience to unpolished work could result in pure cringe for the audience and artist. I remember feeling buzzed about my first recorded songs like "this needs a Grammy," and now I can't hear my early music with a straight face.
Love Music: Can you please tell our readers more about your latest release?
I have two popular releases right now, "Rich & Beautiful" and "Too Little, Too Late."
Rich & Beautiful is meant to be a modern rendition of Madonna's "Material Girl." It is the reason I placed her as the top lyric. It is meant to be "pop" and fashion-centric because I wrote it for the catwalk. I was in the studio, doing my own catwalk strut in order to come up with the perfect staccato beat for the song.
"Too Little, Too Late" is a country song, that goes much deeper in terms of the lyrics. I was inspired by something Garth Brooks said about meeting Trisha Yearwood. There is something gloriously agonizing about meeting the perfect person and realizing that it can't happen. Sadly, this scenario happens to a bunch of people. Those strong connections or impressions may never go away. Garth ended up with Trisha in the end, so there is always hope. A lot of people out there end up more like Adele's "Someone Like You." Especially when the lyrics say, "...never mind, I'll find someone like you..." Either way, "the one that got away" was a concept I wanted to explore in songwriting because of its complexity.
Love Music: Any upcoming project?
I am scheduled for Fashion Week New York next year. I will launching my own fashion line. People that follow me learn I am always working on something and I jump around creatively. For example, my next two songs coming up are jazz songs that have a good coffee-shop vibe to them...and yes...they came out of left field for me too!
Love Music: What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far ?
Being able to perform in Los Angeles, Hollywood, and also internationally in Mexico. In Mexico, soap opera stars hosted the show. I heard they were pretty famous. At that point I could let myself think, "okay, maybe you are actually pretty good." My "humble beginnings" keep me pretty humble as an artist. It takes a lot for me to think like, "you are the best, you are the greatest...you can be a diva." In a way, my attitude keeps me grounded and focused on what's important to the music.
Love Music: What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next?
My goal, since I've started recording, is to create a spectacular music video. "Run," the first music recording I mentioned earlier, was created rapidly for a student music video project. It was a classic first-attempt; and ultra-failure as music video. As a class project, I got an "A." Although, as soon as I posted it on YouTube, it quickly got popular at school for being bad...very bad. With a team that consisted of only me and another project partner, we didn't have much going for us succeeding. The student-music-producer didn't deliver the music until the day-off needing to turn in our final project. We couldn't exactly change course at that point, since it was part of the assignment to stick to what we proposed to do. While, I am sure even Steven Spielberg would have said, "Listen, we don't have the music yet, and this is a music video...so we have no choice but to change course." I felt I had no choice but to stick to the assignment. The time crunch led to a ridiculous music video, with me dressed in a Hillary Clinton business suit because I was straight out of a marketing business course final. I seemed to be trying to dance...to a folk song...but the suit limited my movement to robot arms. In order to make it look like more dancers I placed myself against a reflective corner of the business school building, so I was "robot arms" at all angles! To top this off, once I was editing the footage I placed a rainbow filter on top so that it could look better. At the end, my choices made me famous on campus for "the rainbow robot dance." (Remember earlier, when I addressed the "invisible phase." This video is exactly why that phase is so important.) My first music video was a complete disaster. Since, I've taken advanced university-level video classes. I actually graduated with a third degree in exploring digital media, fueled by my need to get my music videos right!
