Manservant ( Papa Shango’s second Album )

Papa Shango’s second album “Manservant”. Is by far the best thing I have heard in 2021, funny, clever and with powerful rock hooks. The standout tracks for me were Buoys Ahoy, Sasha Grey and Sniff the Milk. The less said about “Dangerwank” the better (cough). It is clear these are outstanding musicians having lots fun with each other and with their fans. 

If you ‘re reading this review and know about Papa Shango’s growing cult I salute you. And if you’ve been lucky enough to have witnessed their live shows, please tell what it was like. 

If you haven’t heard Papa Shango, get on board as quickly as possible, I understand their third release “Risk Assessment”. Will send them stratospheric and there won’t be enough room for you to sniff their milk. Get it while it’s fresh.
