Interview with Tina Lloyd-Morris | Children's Educational Songwriter

Love Music: Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education, music passion etc. ??

I have always loved music and learnt to play the recorder, guitar and piano from an early age. I had 5 years of piano lessons, otherwise I taught myself. I don’t remember a time when I have not heard new melodies and harmonies in my head, which I took as normal. In my teens I loved Simon & Garfunkel, Elvis, The Beatles, Cliff Richard and Whitney Houston, amongst others. 

I’ve enjoyed a successful school teaching career of 25 years, mostly teaching music, but also some years as class teacher or SEN teacher. I have had many wonderful opportunities to lead school music across several London schools, of all ages. It has been a delight to watch my pupils develop and succeed in their own learning and I loved to enhance subject learning with music, watching children grow in confidence through playing, singing and performing. 

I am now also, an independent singer-songwriter and recording artist, creating heartfelt songs on various subjects, to uplift my listeners, whilst experimenting with my own musical style.

Love Music: Share some details about your latest release?

As an independent artist I’ve released 10 singles, in the last 20 months, which can be heard on all streaming platforms – Artist name Tina Lloyd-Morris, and I have many more to come! 

My last release ‘You Changed Me’ came out at the end of March 2025, which is the second in my up-coming EP, dedicated to my lovely ‘Aggy’, who sadly died, suddenly and unexpectedly in September’24. We all have to deal with loss in life. I find it very helpful to process my emotions by packaging them into songs. I hope this is helpful for my listeners too.

Love Music: Could you please let us know more about your debut songbook?

This is the first songbook in my ‘Tina’s Topic Tunes’ songbook series, which will be for all primary aged children. This songbook is for children aged between 3-8 years old, has 12 songs, covering 6 classroom topics: ‘Music Time’, ‘All About Me’, ‘Aniumals’, ‘Countries’, ‘Rainforest’ and ‘Transport’, and is full of musical variety. 

The book has full piano scores, with lyrics and guitar chords, separate lyrics sheets, Teacher’s notes and a bonus mask-making resource as part of the ‘Rainforest’ Topic. 

The downloadable audio is lively and catchy, offering full, backing and some extra bonus tracks, to help teachers and parents support their children’s learning of the songs.

Love Music: What's the reason behind creating educational fun songs for children?

I am passionate about the power of music to help children’s neurological development and growth, and I have witnessed the tangible impact it has, to embed learning of many subjects. When we sing, all parts of our brains heat up, and it is said that ‘what fires together, wires together’. So, making my songs catchy and fun, and filled with facts, makes it almost impossible for children not to remember them! When we are enjoying ourselves, we are much more likely to remember things too!

I combine my individual style, expertise, love of music & passion for education to create unique, catchy, educational cross-curricular songs for children, to support teachers and pupils in the learning journey. 

Love Music: What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far?

Completing the recordings for this debut songbook, as an established recording artist, was a real thrill! I simply love writing and recording songs!

Love Music: What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next?

As well as continuing to create new songs daily, writing and recording regularly, I am starting to share my original songs through live performances too. This is very exciting for me and I aim to increase this during the coming year.

 

Love Music: What motivates you to do your best work?

I have a strong faith and am very grateful for it. I find it helps me to be grounded in my faith in God, as I believe he has called me to a life of service, to use all I have been given to do good to others. 

Love Music: Did you choose this industry, as a career, or as a hobby?

I am loving creating music for others to listen to, as well as to help in education. I have very much chosen this as a career development and feel totally at home.

Interview with Sarah Herrera

Who were your biggest musical influences growing up?

Good question, because I grew up in the NYHC scene, and I had a LOT of them. I started going down and hanging out on the Lower East Side of NYC starting when I was about 10 or 11, catching shows by local hardcore bands, and I was either so high or drunk (or both) that I think I loved every band I saw. I can still practically taste the music. I can’t even remember how many times I broke my arm, wrist, collarbone, ocular cavity down there. I think I got my first pelvic exam in the mosh pit.  And that was a pretty active scene – I’m 25 now so this would have been around 2010 – Cockholster was pretty big, Fucktornado, Intestine Boy was big on the scene, I saw Thundercunt play a lot. These bands never really went anywhere, but they showed me the direction I wanted to go in. Rumpbender out of Queens, I think Jizzmopper was out of Brooklyn, Silly Sausage and Holestuffer from my own neighborhood in the Bronx. Oh, Cumcannon, they were from Jersey. All very influential. Without having seen all those bands, I probably would have picked up the tuba or something.

Who would be your dream artist or band to collaborate with?

Oh, that’s easy – I love the band Fire Good, they’re on Insurrectionary Records NYC. The guitar player told me I was hot once, and I grabbed him down low and was like “let’s go”, but I think that was a little much for him. But these guys are really awesome, and the thematically they are right up my alley. They run the gamut lyrically - they do hilarious songs about genocide and then serious songs about running around in loincloths beating random people with spiked clubs. They of course already have a bass player, young clean cut guy, but I think we can double our lines – if I’m not mistaken, I believe Poison had two bass players, which really filled out their sound when they played live. I think the Geto Boys had two bass players also briefly, I’d have to go back and check.

Also I think I mentioned this in an earlier interview, but it’s always been my dream to work with Bowzer from Sha Na Na. We reached out a while back, and it’s going to happen, it’s just down to scheduling conflicts right now. But my singing style, stage presence, guttural growls, are all pretty much patterned after him.

Can you share a memorable performance experience—good or bad?

Sure. We played at a small club down in the Bowery a few years ago, this when I was in Fentanyl Testers. I had forgotten that we had to play that night so I was up at 9 AM doing shots of Jager. I was blackout drunk by 4 PM. We had a show at 9. I do not remember the show, and I’m scared to watch the clips that were filmed, but apparently I went on a 5 minute rant about Bulgarians, took off my shirt for like three songs, and I went after my brother Matt (he was the drummer) with a boxcutter.

So I guess that would fall under bad.

What genre do you identify with the most, and why?

I like everything, although I admit to being a bit of a musical snob, but I’m working to be a little more respectful of the tastes of others. So if I’m in the mood for metal, I’d say bands like Underkill, Microaggression, Death From A Thousand Cunts, MyPillow, the underground stuff that nobody knows about, which is what makes it so special. Same for pretty much every genre. If I feel like listening to salsa (my uncle Cigarette Steve was in a salsa band), Yoenis Cespedes is probably my go to. I head out to Billar de Morristown in Jersey, they have live salsa performances nightly, just the top acts out of Cuba, Mexico, Laos, etc. I saw Cerebro de Mantequilla there last week. But I really listen to everything. Not hip-hop. Fuck that shit. 

What's your favorite part of performing live?

My favorite part of playing live is being able to just let go. So, like most punk musicians, I work a hump job during the day. I work for a managed service provider, I answer help desk tickets – something comes in, I call the client and tell them to read the fucking manual. Very exciting stuff. When I’m on stage, it’s extremely liberating, it’s like I’m flying naked over Europe, it just feels free. Least favorite thing – grabby hands venue owners. They’ll stare at your chest while counting out grimy twenties that smell like an Albanian’s feet, it is not the most fun part of playing live. But, you gotta do what you gotta do. I’d like to own a club someday, hold MolestFest 2026 or something and get all the top bands to play, like an all day festival, as long as I could hire someone else to clean up the blood afterwards.

What challenges have you faced in the music industry?

I would say being young, female and blonde, especially in a male dominated genre. People see me on stage and expect I’m going to start singing about cotton candy and kitty cats, and when I start singing about bestiality or drunk driving, people are thrown for a loop. But I have to write what I know, it would be disingenuous to write about summer raspberries or the earth being flat or stuff that other pop singers have already covered ad naseum. A lot of people also assume I got where I am on my looks – they don’t realize the hard work that goes into being a trained singer, especially one in a punk band where I’m crooning like Sinatra one minute and screaming like Sammy Davis Jr. the next, all at 90 miles an hour. If you think it’s so easy, you try it. 

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?

I have three words of advice: practice, practice, practice. It’s a lot like driving drunk. You won’t learn to properly drive hammered if you only do it once a month. You have to put the work in, get your mistakes out of the way, keep doing it until muscle memory can take over when you’re texting or forget where you’re going. Get out there and play as many shows as you can. If you pee in your pants playing the first time in front of a crowd, pretend you meant to do it. I did. Someone throws a bottle at you, throw it back. Someone pulls out a piece and takes a shot at you (as happened to me at L’Armando in Brooklyn), stand there and yell “you missed, try again”. Don’t be intimidated. Just be yourself, and everything will fall into place. Probably.

Interview with Max P

Love Music: Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education, music passion etc. ??

I was born into a musical home. My mother used to sing for fun and my dad played the drums in a local band. My grandfather was the conductor of a marching band who also composed music. As a kid I was always surrounded by musical instruments, first I played around on my dad’s guitar but I never got the hang of it. So I turned to the drumkit and started pounding along with some records on my turntable. Later I learned to play keyboards and I also started recording stuff when I was a teenager. I always felt the need to express myself and I’m glad that I’ve been doing that professionally for the past twelve years.

Love Music: We’ve been hearing a lot about you, so we notice you’re starting to gain a lot of attention.How does it feel?

I am used to a role in the background, working with DJ’s with lots of fans. It’s nice to show up on stage every now and then to sing for their live audiences and get some attention, but then it’s nice to get off the stage and return to my fairly anonymous life. Now with these personal songs coming up I have to be seen. I’m not sure I like all the attention, but today I went to a party and several people came up to me telling me how moved they were by listening to my new single ‘Silence’. I’m excited to hear that my music has this effect on people.

Love Music: Can you please tell our readers more about 'Microphone Therapy'?

‘Silence’ is the first single in a collection of twelve songs that I wrote over the years, inspired by life events. Eventually I want to bundle all twelve songs into an album called ‘Microphone Therapy’, because that’s what it is to me. Writing these songs was a first step to deal with some life changing events. Recording and producing the songs was a confrontation with the dark side of my emotions. Vocalizing my experiences is a process of healing and that’s why I call it Microphone Therapy.

Love Music: Any upcoming songwriting project?

I’m glad that I took the time to write my personal songs for Microphone Therapy, because it also clears the head and makes room for new songs. I hope that helps when I’m writing new material with the producers and DJs that I frequently work with.

Love Music: What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far ?

Professionally I have created music that generates buckets of streams, it brought me to some amazing places, performing on some of the biggest festivals and venues in the world. But personally, at the end of the day, really getting through to one person with a song is the ultimate achievement.

Love Music: What’s your goal in life?

Simply be happy. 

Love Music: What motivates you to do your best work as vocalist?

I don’t consider myself to be a very good singer. I’m jealous of singers with rich and tone steady voices. So I compensate that by putting all my energy into a recording and trying my best to make the listener feel the emotion that the song requires.

Love Music: Did you choose this industry, as a career, or as a hobby?

For years I worked part time as a financial administrator in a wholesale company.Working part time allowed me to make enough money to get by and still have plenty of time to play in a band and work on music in any other way I could. Twelve years ago I quit that job and started earning my bread and butter in the music industry. It was quite a challenge at first, but eventually it turned out to be the right choice.

Love Music: Everybody needs a time out. What do you do in your free time?

I have my studio at home, so when I’m at home I’m working. If want to take some time off from work I really need to get out of the house.I like traveling to places where it’s not cold or rainy. My girlfriend likes that too, so that’s something we both enjoy.

Interview with Maxi Curnow

Love Music: Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education, music passion etc. ??

I started guitar when I was 9, I would’ve loved bandmates but I grew up in a small rural village - so it became really important to learn how to record myself and play different instruments to make music independently! Through school I was recording other people and hosting gig nights, I was obsessed. When I was about 17 and started visiting London, I was lucky to learn as an assistant for Tim Laws and also at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club, eventually going on to work with both in a professional capacity. This was alongside a Music Production Degree at ACM, although I always preferred the hands on experience! After I left ACM I worked with a lot of bands alongside training/joining as a Firefighter - I’d compose music in a studio nearby and then rush to the fire station whenever my pager went off! After 4 years I got an injury, and decided to commit to music and filmmaking full time. 

Love Music: can you please share with us your music production work?

There’s been a great mixture of genres, products and clients over the years. I do the music production on all of my own work which I love for the flexibility and range of sound one can achieve. That extended to mixing for bands and production music for TV/Film, and product development for Spitfire Audio; working intimately with the audio on Hans Zimmer, Abbey Road and Ólafur Arnalds projects. I also work at a Mastering Engineer, so a lot of music comes through my door!

Love Music: Your favourite project as a Mastering Engineer?

“Fire By The Silos” by Toska - Rabea Massaad is an incredible writer and that album was such a joy to work with.

Love Music: What's the reason behind choosing this profession ?

It started as a means to fund my own music, but I quickly discovered the joy and creativity of learning all the crazy and incredible things you can do with Pro Tools. I find production to be fascinating, I love playing with different sonic flavours to completely transform a song into whatever you want/need it to be. It feels like magic sometimes.

Love Music : What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far ?

Learning when my music had been featured on certain TV shows was amazing, especially ones that I personally enjoy. I’m happy to say that there are a fair few, Louis Theroux particularly stood out! Working on Hans Zimmer projects with Spitfire was also very special. 

Love Music: What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next?

I want to make a musical, bit in a slightly different way than people might expect! I’m also excited to share some collaborations on my next album.

Love Music: Did you choose this industry, as a career, or as a hobby?

I suppose both - Since I can remember it’s all I’ve done, I can’t imagine doing anything else! I’ve always been intrigued by a mixture of things within production, so it’s never felt dull.

I want to be able to reach the whole world with my music I want to be able to move people and motivate the youth that if I did it they can to !

Life obstacles everything I make music about is what I feel or what I have been through that’s why everything is so pure because everything I say is real.

Interview with New Rules Duo

Love Music: Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education, music passion etc. ??

New Rules is a duo made up of Celia Stavri on Vocals and Dominik Dybka on Guitar and Vocals.

Celia is a singer/singer songwriter born in the UK and now living in Paphos, Cyprus. ‘As seen on TV’, Celia is a well known award winning singer. She was the runner up out of thousands of singers applying for a Greek singing contest which was televised in Greece called ‘Rising Stars’. Celia has also released several of her own original music which has reached over 150thousand views and plays collectively on all social media platforms.

Dominik is a guitarist and music producer, owner of Overtone Records Cyprus, sound engineer (finished Academy of Film and Television in Warsaw, Poland). His music education stands between Chicago, Warsaw and Paphos. He lived years in the USA where he played in a band but also started producing his own material. In Warsaw he got his degree as a sound engineer, played in numerous bands from blues through punk rock to pop so he is influenced by many different music genres. In Paphos, Cyprus is where he could finally spread his wings as a musician and music producer. Having recorded and produced probably all local artists in Paphos and surrounding areas in his studio his main focus now is New Rules Duo and social media.

Love Music: We’ve been hearing a lot about you and have noticed you’re starting to gain a lot of attention, how does it feel?

To be honest it is very surreal for us! We hoped that our tour to the US would go well but never expected such amazing feedback and recognition. We are overwhelmed with the support. Several venues in other states have also contacted us to book in dates for our return tour this November. So we are very excited to get back on the road and experience as much as we can. We feel extremely lucky to be able to do what we love.

Love Music: Can you please tell our readers more about your latest release?

Our latest album ‘Road to Rendition’ has 12 cover songs. All tracks on the album are completely unique and are our ‘Rendition’ of the songs. All of the tracks were recorded from scratch by us and were recorded by Dom at Overtone Records. We are so proud with the final piece. Each song tells a story and has great meaning to us.

Since its release it has reached thousands of plays on Spotify, YouTube and other platforms with some of the songs having airplay around the world.

Love Music: Any upcoming project?

We are pleased to say that even while in America on tour all of the venues have invited us back this year and we are now in conversation with other venues from different states like Tennessee and Iowa, that also wish to book us. We have also been contacted by a large theatre in Chicago that wants to book us for a ticketed event. The theatre has a capacity of around 1000 so we are really excited for what this year will bring!

Love Music: What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far ?

Definitely travelling to America for our very first international tour. The thought of doing that has been a dream for both of us but it never felt like it would happen in reality. So to have experienced it still feels like a dream! It was definitely the most exciting time for us.

Love Music: What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next?

We have many goals I guess and the list gets longer daily! But of course our main goal is to keep travelling and doing tours and getting our name out there. We also want to write our own songs, which we are currently working on now. Our album will really showcase our individual talents and will have a Blues/Funk feel. We will be releasing the album this year. So keep an eye and ear out!

Love Music: What motivates you to do your best work?

Several things! Family is one very important factor for us. Celia has 2 daughters and she really wants to show them to follow their dreams. If you work hard and follow your passion only good things can come from it. When things get hard its easy to give up but you must get up and keep going no matter your career. To be able to write and perform songs that connect with people is also a great motivator. Nowadays people truly connect less and less. Songs have the power to really mean something to so many people. To be able to have a positive influence on someone is a real honour. Especially if they are feeling lost. We need to come together more and be there for each other. Songs have this great power to do this and we are prove to be part of that industry.

Love Music: Did you choose this industry, as a career, or as a hobby?

We both see this as a career now. When Celia first started to sing it was more to follow a passion that she had of singing. It actually turned into a career by accident! She used to post videos of her singing onto YouTube and Facebook and was contacted by a couple that were getting married and wanted to book her to sing at their wedding. One wedding soon turned into several and she left her job as a teacher to become a full time singer.

For Dominik it was a choice. He had to decide what does he love the most in life and went and did it. Never looked back.

Love Music: Everybody needs time out. What do you do in your free time?

Free time? What’s that?! Our year is very hectic! We have a full diary of weddings and we also perform weekly at some hotels and venues across the whole island of Cyprus. So this doesn’t give us much free time. But we wouldn’t want it any other way. We get to travel a lot and stay in some beautiful locations and hotels. We really enjoy being on the road. We both say often that life isn’t about the things you buy but the experiences you gain. They are priceless. With any free time that we do have we like to work on music.

An Interview with Producer Ralfiz

The rising star in the world of hip hop. We had the opportunity to sit down with Ralfiz and learn more about his music, influences, and journey to success.

Love Music: Can you tell us a little bit about your background and how you first got into music?

Ralfiz: I grew up in a musical family, and I was always surrounded by different genres of music. But it was hip hop that really spoke to me and I started writing my own rhymes when I was just a teenager. I started performing at local open mics and eventually started recording my own music.

Love Music: Your music has a very distinct sound and style, who would you say are your biggest influences in the industry?

Ralfiz: Definitely Pop Smoke and Dusty. They were the first artists that I really connected with and inspired me to become a rapper myself.

Ralfiz: It's amazing, it's truly a dream come true. I've worked so hard to get to where I am, and to be acknowledged by my peers and the industry is a huge honor. But I never lose sight of the fact that my success wouldn't be possible without my fans and supporters, so I always make sure to give back and show my gratitude.

Love Music: You have a huge following on social media and interact with your fans frequently. How important is that connection with your fanbase to you?

Ralfiz: It's incredibly important. My fans are what keep me motivated and inspired. I love being able to connect with them and share my journey with them. And it's also a great way for me to connect with new fans and reach new audiences.

Love Music: Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education, music passion etc. ??

I’m from Memphis, TN. I started making music at a young age. My mom forced me into voice lessons at a young age but I didn’t really like them. I wasn’t after that choir boy sound. After hearing Billie joe from Green Day’s voice. I eventually moved to New York to go to school but eventually dropped out to pursue a degree in music production. Life had other plans however with the school closing due to the owner choosing to put his energy and money into his addictions rather than the instructors paychecks. Although I left New York with out a degree I learned some pretty valuable life lessons that no text book could ever relay.

Love Music: We been hearing a lot about you, so we notice your starting to gain a lot of attention how does it feel?

It’s much appreciated but not at all what I expected. When I first started 100,000 plays was what it poked to be famous in my eyes. I saw artists like Tyler the Creator achieving it and thought that was the pinnacle of success. Once I reached it though my bank account was still dismal. Today my idea of success has evolved past a number of plays. It’s more so a sense of stability: passive income, being able to travel, feed my family, those sorts of things.

Love Music: Can you please tell our readers more about your latest release?

‘Resurrection’ I’ve really begun to realize how my genre or songs I’ve made in the past can cradle depression. Resurrection is a call back to my original writing methods of the lyrics being more simplified. Subconsciously I also draw from my interest in theology. This was actually the first degree I pursued but decided it was more of a hobby or interest rather than a career for me. But anyways the song kind of aligns with the idea of the crucifixion and resurrection and how that can symbolically play out in daily life. The idea came to me while heavily intoxicated and working on a different beat with obey the scene and sylum gone and in an instant the idea came to me. That’s usually how an idea will hit, just in a moment without consciously trying to pull it out. It was honestly a spiritual moment for me.

Love Music: Any upcoming project?

I’m working on an EP (companion piece) to the last EP I did. I also have a trilogy I’ve been thinking about, with a single coming out soon, to be announced. I’m getting back to my punk rock roots but with an emphasis on overcoming challenges rather than a self loathing focus.

Love Music: What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far ?

When I think back to getting in touch with prettyheartbreak with my best friend and godfather to my son kid amateur to make Gold Things. This song is a reminder for me that lyrics read like a cliché music documentary. Come up, come down, realization, reunion. We made it all in house, shouts out to Kid A for the guitar and beat. Another moment I have to mention was getting to meet YvngCrow person when he came down to Houston for a show after knowing him on SoundCloud for years and then joining Sylum Gone for features on Escape (music video coming soon lol)

Love Music: What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next?

To own a liger.

Love Music: Did you choose this industry, as a career, or as a hobby?

I went into music as a career. I’ve always been really into music my whole life. It's my lifesource. After dropping out of The King's College theology program in pursuit of a music production degree I made my mind up that there wasn't any other options.

Now that I’ve healed from some pretty brutal recent injuries I’ve enjoyed going to the gym, getting back into jiu-jitsu and hanging out with my dog and girlfriend. Also, I love designing clothes for my friends and for myself.

I was born and raised in North West London. My mum is from Newcastle and my dad is from St Vincent. I went to a couple of different schools, some of them have reputations for being rough and dangerous. I have always done music, since the age of 7 I started writing my own poems, which later developed into my own songs. Music has always been my passion, since primary school I’d be so busy writing my own lyrics that I’d forget to do my homework!

Love Music: We been hearing a lot about you, so we notice your starting to gain a lot of attention how does it feel?

It’s a nice feeling, but I try not to think about it too much. For me, writing music is therapeutic. I do it mainly for myself and for the enjoyment of others. I also record songs to raise awareness of ongoing real world issues, so I’m glad my songs are getting attention and raising awareness of these problems. My music motivates and educates people, so getting attention means I’m teaching and inspiring more and more people!

Love Music: What's the response you got from people for your first release 'Snakey'?

The feedback from people was great! Snakey was dually signed by two major record labels and played on the radio in many countries across Europe. It also got played in some nightclubs because of how catchy the song is! Even to this day, when I perform it, it gets one of the best reactions. It’s relatable, anyone who has ever faced disloyalty from a friend can connect to it, and sadly that’s most people! However, although it sounds like a negative song, it’s positive and educational, which a lot of fans really like as it inspires them to move on from fake friendships and leave Karma to do its work, as appose to becoming violent or dropping down to their level.

Love Music: Any upcoming release?

Yes, many! Quite a few have to remain secret for now, but I’m working on a couple of very controversial ones, one more summer song for this year and working on some collaborations too. Features is definitely something I need to do more often, so that’s under construction at the moment!

Love Music: What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far ?

Although my first ever release was signed and my first ever music video hit over 10k views on my own YouTube channel, in my opinion, my most exciting achievement is definitely performing at Notting Hill Carnival. I love performing, it’s one of my favourite parts of my musical journey, and delivering my talent to a crowd of that size really was a dream come true! The fact it was carnival made it so much more special to me, as I’ve attended carnival since I was a little boy and I’m aware of the history of it and how much it means to many people of many different cultures, backgrounds and lifestyles.

Love Music: What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next?

My long term goal is to leave a legacy in music. I want to educate many more people through music and continue to fight for idealistic causes through my songs. I want to inspire people and prove that anything is possible. As for my short term goals, I would like to collaborate with more artists and perform a few more times this year! I’m also working on my second EP, which will be dropping next year so look out for that! 

Love Music: What motivates you to do your best work?

My daughter. My daughter motivates me to be so strong and creative. Before she was born, the majority of my songs were about fake friends, street life or betrayal. Although this may not necessarily be a bad thing and I was just rapping about my life and surroundings, since the birth of my daughter, some of my music has had a more positive touch. While a portion of my fan base love my gun, war and street songs, I’ve gained many more fans due to my optimistic music, as more people listen to music to gain a happy feeling than a negative one. My daughter has made me gain knowledge of the happy side of life, given me many more ideas to write about. She has motivated me to reach a level where I can write both positive and negative music now, therefore my music is reaching many more people as I have a song for you no matter what mood you’re in!

Love Music: Did you choose this industry, as a career, or as a hobby?

It started off as a hobby, However, as I started getting bigger in the scene, I realised that I should take it seriously because of how much potential I have! For example, last year I only released three songs, but my music played in 95 countries! That stat alone, combined with the facts that my first ever release got signed by a record label, my first video hit 10k views with no big channel helping to support it, and the fact that I was banned from rap battles during my time at secondary school because I was “Too good at it” all show me that I’m destined for a career in the music scene! Even though I’m taking it seriously now, it always feels like a hobby because I enjoy every aspect of it. When you do what you love it doesn’t feel like work!

I like to spend lots of time with my daughter. I also play for a Semi-Pro football team, as football has always been another main passion of mine. I chose the name of the single because as I wrote the hook in the song I realized that’s what the song should be I felt in my heart things were changing for me so I felt it was necessary to name the song it’s my time because I felt like a lot of people could relate as well not just me it’s a very bold statement it’s a very powerful statement when you claim that it’s your time to do whatever it is so that’s why I name the single it’s my time.

There’s been a lot of exciting Experiences especially within the last couple of years, but I’d like to say my most exciting thing Is that my music actually touch as people and people are actually affected in the actually care, And they actually stream my music and believe in me it’s the best feeling in the world.
