INTRODUCING THE NORWEGIAN TRAVIS SCOTT… YOUNG CISTO AND HIS NEW SONG ‘KUMBAYA’

Returning with irresistible bop is rising Norwegian based artist ‘Young Cisto’ collaborating with ‘Dihav’ with “Kumbaya”. Kumbaya is all about good vibes, perfect for chilling with your friends or cleaning the house if that's your thing.  Kumbaya is a catchy song that’s made for any occasion to get you feeling powerful. Dihav’s melodic pop vocals glide over the afro drill beat, bouncing over the hip hop bassline and entering a kaleidoscope of soothing harmonies. Both artists reveal their artistic prowess in this single, blurring the lines between afro trap and drill in a way never heard before, as they effortlessly put on and imitate displays of immersive melodies, flows and stylistic productions, all just for you.

As an Oslo-based hip hop artist who grew up in Italy with a Ghanaian background, Young Cisto first started making music at X-ray Ungdomkulturhus in 2011. The witty and ambitious artist has created many afro-beat hits such as ‘Africa Sauce’ and ‘Red Flag’ and is promising many new hits that you're bound to vibe to, what’s more, is Cisto is an artist all about good times and positive beliefs.

Dihav performs hip-hop, which is similar to cloud rap and reggaeton. Dihav is an Oslo-based English/Kurdish rapper. He began his career in July 2020 and has since released four songs and an EP in Kurdish and English, each of which has gotten positive feedback, and there is a growing interest in that genre of music in Europe.

Young Cisto and Dihav met at a concert where they were both performing; they instantly realised they had a goal and bonded. They both recognised the potential for a banger in their present portfolio and realised that if they could only write a song together, it might be the tune that puts Norway on the music map. So they got together in the studio, and what happened? This afro drill tune features modern pop vocal melodies and great rap flows.

Fast forward a few months later and Kumbaya is out NOW! And ready to be loved by everyone around the world.  The definition of “Kumbaya” means “Harmony between people and in their essential goodness”, get ready to feel that sense of beautiful harmony, that Young Cisto conveys as he releases his versatile music to the world,

In the next coming weeks, we’ll see more from the artist such as a music video as well as upcoming tours in autumn, by then who knows how big they’ll be, so if I was you I’d get them saved on your playlist before you miss out on having the only hip-hop artist you need on your playlist.

Rex Mundi The Great Aims To Redefine Rap Music With Gritty, Low-Budget Albums

Before the introduction of grunge music, rock n roll found itself in a pretty glamorous state. By the late '80s rock became party anthems and stadium music. Rock stars became mechanical and programmed to entertain. The music touted and very cliche. Enter grunge music and all that changed. Rock traded in glamour and club songs for grunge and raw hard-hitting albums.

Rap in its current state is like the glamour rock of the late 80s. Rappers are as cliche as the music they put out. Rap rose to prominence during the same era as rocks transition and for a period of time, also adopted a more raw and gritty style. Rap dominated the airwaves, unseating rock as the most popular genre in the US. As rap transitioned into a more glamorous art form its dominance and influence waned.

Blogger, producer, and rapper Rex Mundi The Great looks to bring a grittier style back to rap. With a consistent flow of low-budget albums scheduled for release over the next two years, the artist looks to make a significant impact. The artist's album release is the first of a stream of releases from fellow artists and label members on the artist-owned/cooperative Bad Baby Entertainment.

The first single “A Parachute Just In-Case” aims for a fall release (date not scheduled) and is the introductory song for the low-budget style. The song, singles, and albums available as works in progress until completion. These pieces of music are silently released to the artist's website early in the developing stages, with listeners able to hear and see the developing works. Currently, the first single is available for listeners to hear and the media to review.

Darrell Kelley | Insane In The Ukraine

Darrell Kelley sounds the battle cry against Vladimir Putin and Russia's decision to invade the Ukraine region. "Insane In The Ukraine" harks back upon the iconic Cypress Hill title of their hit, "Insane In The Membrane". Calling out the country, and the man who leads it, for the horrendous war crimes currently being committed on a daily basis inside the former Soviet Union satellite country, he pulls no punches. And this activist artist is not alone. Through several passages in the piece, the American president, Joseph Biden, whose voice is heard intoning the repeated phrase of "Who in the Lord's name?" which was sampled from one of the USA elected leader's more recent speeches concerning the Russian invasion.

Singer, composer and entrepreneur Darrell Kelley was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He’s a performer, singer, songwriter, social activist, spiritual leader, author and entrepreneur. Where injustice prevails Kelley has been known to plunge headlong into the fight to seek justice, understanding, acceptance and unity for one and all.
