Interview with Meg Williams

Love Music: Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I grew up in Western NY -- moved to Nashville about 5 1/2 years ago! I've been playing guitar for about 20 years now, and writing music for almost just as long. I'm currently a full time musician -- I perform as a solo/duo act, full band, and as a guitarist for other artists.

Love Music: Who are your biggest influences in music?

I love blues-rock, southern rock, and classic rock music! Some of my current favorite bands include - Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Allman Brothers Band, Eric Clapton, Blackberry Smoke.

Love Music: Can you please tell our readers more about 'Live and Learn'?

"Live and Learn" is a project that came out of the 2020 pandemic -- like many musicians, I had the time to create, write, and work on new material, and explore different interests. All of the songs on the album were written throughout that year. The album was recorded by two of my friends, producer/musicians Terry Goose Downing and Tom DelRossi.

Love Music: Your favorite song on this album?

I am proud of them all! But if I had to choose -- either "Live and Learn" or "The Reason".

Love Music: Your favorite gear to use?

I love my Fender strat & acoustic Breedlove guitar -- I use a Fender tone master amp and G&H plugs for cables.

Love Music: What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next?

To keep touring & performing at new venues across the country, as well as festivals. I hope to tour internationally in the next few years - I haven't done that yet!

Love Music: What motivates you to do your best work?

I always push myself to keep going forward & keep learning new things. Also, seeing people connecting with my music and shows is a big motivator!

Love Music: Did you choose this industry as a career or as a hobby?

I've always loved music, since I was very young! I would dance around the house as a toddler to music. I had interests in learning instruments at a young age (guitar + piano), and I've just carried that love of music throughout my life. I decided in college that a career in music (performance) is what I wanted to do. I am currently a full time musician here in Nashville.

Love Music: Everybody needs time out. What do you do in your free time?

I really enjoy cooking! Reading, going on walks, biking and kayaking during the summer. Going out to see other concerts and shows!

Interview with Simon Val

Love Music: Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education, music passion etc. ??

I am a freshman in high school, and I've been singing since before I could talk. I started in musical theater at the age of 8, and from there my love of singing, especially of musical theater, grew. A few years ago, I sang on Broadway, which was my dream for the longest time. Other than musical theater, I love pop, rock, and even opera.

Love Music: We been hearing a lot about you, so we notice your starting to gain a lot of attention how does it feel?

I am still very far from being famous, but it's a lot of fun to have my friends play my songs from Spotify when we are in public. I do however hope to reach more people with my music.

Love Music: Can you please tell our readers more about your latest release?

My latest release is a pop ballad called My Heart Texts You (https://open.spotify.com/track/2SSAwNRusO3RIc7V2GFMgz?si=2a97da44d7af43d8). I really enjoyed singing it because it sort of blends the pop side of my voice with the musical theatre side of my voice. I'm about to release a new pop single called "Young Love".

Love Music: Any upcoming acting project?

I'm auditioning for a lot of films right now, so keeping my fingers crossed.

Love Music: What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far ?

I was lucky enough to perform in on a Broadway stage inside the famous Gershwin Theater a couple of years ago. It was a fantastic experience for me to be on the same stage where "Wicked" plays every night.

Love Music: What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next as a film actor?

I believe that nobody can become a big actor overnight. It takes hard work, lots of patience, training, and luck. I've been working really hard on my craft this year, and I hope I've got what it takes.

Love Music: What motivates you to do your best work as a Singer?

I love singing so much. I love stretching my voice to its limits and beyond. I believe that as a singer I must always deliver the absolute best performance, and I hope my singing brings joy to my audience all over the world.

Love Music: Did you choose this industry, as a career, or as a hobby?

It started as a hobby but I wouldn't be surprised if this turns into a career.

Love Music: Everybody needs time out. What do you do in your free time?

What free time? Haha. I'm a freshman in high school, so I spend a lot of time doing school. I'm an actor, so I have lots of auditions, and I film 1-2 films every month. I work on my music and have vocal coaching. I'm also a nationally ranked fencer. I train every day, and I go to competitions at east once a month.

Love Music: How can people find you and follow you online?

Interview with Heem4vr - R&B Artist from Philadelphia

Love Music: Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education, music passion etc. ??

My name is Heem4vr and I'm an R&B artist from Philadelphia. I started music in the early 2010’s when I was laid off from work. One of my homies had already been releasing music and he invited me to the studio. I learned the process of finding beats, song writing, and recording and fell in love with it. I went to the Community College of Philadelphia & later transferred to Temple University, which I obtained a degree in Adult Education. When I graduated I learned that I couldn’t work a normal job and that I was different. I’ve worked at walmart, target, as a cell phone salesman, a desk job, warehouses, restaurants, I’ve done it all. My brain thinks in terms of creativity  and innovation, I always sucked at following rules. So I continued creating music. Nothing in this life fulfills me more than music, not even money.

Love Music: We been hearing a lot about you, so we notice your starting to gain a lot of attention how does it feel?

It feels great that see all of my years of work paying off. However, I try not to get caught up in the noise. Im an introvert, so I focus on creating more content for my fans. As long as people enjoy it, I’m content.

Love Music: Can you please tell our readers more about your latest release?

My latest release is called “Bellinis” which is produced by Trakksounds, who has produced for 2Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, Jhene Aiko, etc. Its a fun, seductive song about taking your significant other on a vacation and how much you appreciate them.

Love Music: Any upcoming project?

My next single “Closure” will be releasing on January 14th. Its a dark, seductive, R&B track. People are gonna love it. Also my upcoming album “Sex & Soul Food” will be releasing in February. It is an album dedicated to my parents who passed away. My mother in May 2015, and father recently November of 2021. My mother liked current music, my dad liked old school. The album combines both sounds. I even rap in different dialects on the project. There has never been an album like it. Stay tuned.

Love Music: What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far ?

Releasing 6 singles this year during the pandemic, Im thankful that I was able to stay consistent.

Love Music: What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next?

I want to have a platinum single, and tour. I would also love to have properties and San Diego, as well as my current area the Lehigh Valley.

Love Music: What motivates you to do your best work as a R&B Artist?

My pain. Losing both parents, being good friends with my mom, coming from an impoverished neighborhood. All of this combined makes me want to win. I never stop working.

Love Music: Did you choose this industry, as a career, or as a hobby?

As a career. I loved music so much it was all I could do, so I became great at it.

Love Music: Everybody needs time out. What do you do in your free time?

I travel, read a lot of books, I like to watch youtube and learn about different places, I also love to cook. I like the process of making wings from scratch. Idk why, I’m weird lol

“The One Who Didn’t” – Inspired By Beethoven’s 5th Symphony

In this song, Alex Genadinik combined elements of classical and contemporary music by using Beethoven's widely recognized 4-note motif from his 5th symphony. The metaphor of Beethoven's 5th symphony is that the famous DA-DA-DA-DA sound is your life knocking on your door and asking what you are doing with your life.

With that in mind, the protagonist of the song hears Beethoven's famous melody and begins to wonder about what would happen if he doesn't accomplish anything with his life that he set out to do. As the song progresses, the listener gets to follow the protagonist's story about how Beethoven affected him.

This song has interesting lyrics. It touches on issues everyone deals with - what to do with one's life. If you like this song, take a look at Alex's other songs with metaphors. Metaphors really get the imagination going and when they are combined to music, they help the listener drift away into a different world, which makes music so special. Take a listen to this song and other songs on Alex's website.

About Alex Genadinik
