Songwriting tournament is a must for independent Artists & Bands

MySongWins is a free community driven promotional platform that is for independent artists and bands. The platform focuses on an original song tournament that brings in new fans and followers from across the globe in ways that wouldn't be possible for someone that's independent.

Tournament winners would receive vendor sponsored prizes and a promotional ad spend. Every week 2-3 tournaments are held on the MySongWins Instagram story. A new tournament begins every Monday afternoon and lasts for 3, 24 hour sessions, whichever song receives the most votes will progress to the next round. The best part about this is that no matter how well you do you still would have reached an incredible crowd of people that could be potential fans.

MySongWins was created for the artists and bands, their goal is to expose everyone's talent and provide an audience that wouldn't have been possible before. We found it incredibly easy to vote for our favorite songs and see how the Artist or Band was progressing.

MySongWins makes it incredibly easy to enter the tournament, all you would have to do is the following

1. @mysongwins on social media.
2. DM an apple music link to the song you'd like to enter with and send over an image or a short 15 second video to use as the song story background.
3. Ask one of your own fans to follow @mysongwins and let them know who that was.
4. Wait for a tag from @mysongwins to be notified you're in the contest.

This is a fantastic initiative that will help out independent artists. We can't wait to hear what everyone is submitting!

AMEL D - Pride of Sacrifice

Bullied since 3 Years Old, Asian Rock Singer AMEL D Succeed called as 'Alternative Rockstar' with 'Pride of Sacrifice'

In the wake of the success of his previous singles 'Inside Destruction' and 'I'm Your Rain’, which together have totaled over 1 million streams between Spotify and Youtube, the young and talented Asian singer Amel D returns with a new number exquisitely rooted in the sounds of alternative rock.

The success of Amel D continues to grow, and with it also her artistic maturity grows, as evidenced by her latest release 'Pride of Sacrifice', a new single in which the artist not only exhibits once again all the scratching and energetically permeating force of her vocal timbre, but which allows her to set up an exquisite expressive combination that with evolutionary dynamics exquisitely supports and articulates the theme of the song.

Filled with the sense of frustration we suffer when we are not appreciated by our loved one, the plot of 'Pride of Sacrifice' leads to a tumultuous outburst of anger, providing an invaluable hook to anyone who has suffered from emotional experiences of this type. Through parables that alternate between candid reflective parentheses, growing edifying awareness, and explosive liberating declarations, this guitar-driven song is a fresh boost of vitality. Between bitterness, the need to be loved, and the desire to move forward, this piece contains all the value and the weight, the importance and the meaning belonging to the two words, pride and sacrifice, that form the title.

The expressive and engaging power that Amel D exhibits with 'Pride of Sacrifice' sanctions how much this young artist has now left behind a past marked by bullying and a radical stylistic change. If you try to picture her near future, you can see an open book full of blank pages that Amel D will have no problem filling with many new passionate and engrossing narratives. She has already shown she has the talent to do it. Now she also shows she doesn't lack the inner strength either.

'Pride of Sacrifice' is already available on Amel D website www.ameldmusic.com, and will be available on all the major digital platforms from March 2020.

The song is accompanied by an official black and white animated lyric video, already available on Youtube, which in the first hours of its publication has already totaled more than thousands views.

Interview with Major D-Star

Love Music: Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education, music passion etc.??

It's M.a.j.o.r D-Star from Detroit MI, West side to be exact. The home of Motown.. soul music... and every since I first heard a Biggie song as a kid, music has touched my soul. But it was the Hip-Hop culture that attracted me most to the genre but I love it all! I graduated high school, did a few years in college and realized that wasn't the route for me. It was and has always been music. I come from a two parent household and am of African American decent. I love and stand for my people.

Love Music: Your favorite single?

That's a hard one lol there's so many to choose from over the years but my favorite single right now would have to be my new single, "Whole Nother Level" produced by CashMoneyAp. It's a whole new vibe. Something new and refreshing for the world.

Love Music: We been hearing a lot about you, so we notice your starting to gain a lot of attention how does it feel?

It feels great. It's a blessing to be able to make an impact on people. That's my purpose. I want to leave a legacy behind.

Love Music: Can you please let us know more about your upcoming new album?

My new album "Major Payne" just dropped at the top of the year. There are 26 songs on the project being that I just turned 26 years old with only featuring my artists. I want to give them a chance to shine just as much as me and when it's your time, it's your time. A star is meant to shine bright so with my solo projects I wanted to give the people as much of me as possible. I want to continue to give them a chance to get to know me more and more by not just rapping about what's going on in my life but also letting them know what it takes to get it. You gotta put grind behind prayer.

Love Music: What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far?

So far I think it would have to be my music reaching over 77 countries this year. Getting my music all over the world and being able to touch all types of people has always been my goal as an artist. That's what I stand for, the people.

Love Music: What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next?

Wealth. I want to be able to create a future for not just for me but for my family and kids. And even though I don't have any kids yet and I live in the moment, I plan for the future. That's just the way my mind is set up. It's a mindset and with mine I see it like the best of both worlds.

Love Music: What motivates you to do your best work?

My family, my city, haters, vacations... it's all motivation. Waking up every day should be your motivation to go get it. You gotta think of everyday as another chance and once you do get it, you gotta have something to keep you going. So I use it all as fuel because if you only have a few motivations and they run out then what? Your’e going to slow down and it's all about consistency.

Love Music: Did you choose this industry, as a career, or as a hobby?

I always looked at music and the music business as a career because it's what I always wanted to do. I always took it seriously without a doubt.

Love Music: Everybody needs time out. What do you do in your free time?

I love to vacate and just relax in my free time. Just doing the typical regular things that people do excite me in my free time because each and every year I get less and less time to do those type of things. The more success you have, the less time you have for other things. That's why it’s important to love what you do.

Love Music: How can people find you and follow you online?

@MAJORDSTAR on all social networks, and my official website majordstar.net you can join the mailing list for all updates on everything that's going on with me! Major Salute to all my fans and everybody rocking with me! Thank you for having me. Much peace and love.
-Major

Interview with Dejha

Love Music: Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education, music passion etc. ??

I grew up in a house full of music. Both of my parents are Jazz musicians. Although I am mostly self-taught, I studied vocal Jazz at Cornish College of the Arts for a few semesters. I grew up listening to a lot of Rock n Roll, New Wave, Soul, R&B and Punk Rock. I started playing in bands when I was 15, my first band being a Ska band called Monkey Business.

Love Music: Your hidden talents?

I'm not sure about this one...and if I tell you, they will no longer be hidden :)

Love Music: Can you please let us know more about your latest album. The Union Gospel?

The Union Gospel is an album of timeless music that was born from my songwriting collaboration with guitarist Mike Squires. We have songwriting chemistry that fostered a lot of really great music. Currently, the material on the album is a substantial part of my live repertoire. The idea is to utilize, this material that I am very proud of as a vessel for my career.

Love Music: What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far?

I would say touring Europe. I did so with my old band Rotten Apples and it was the time of my life. I hope to get back that way as soon as possible!

Love Music: What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next?

I think more about a lot of little victories as opposed to one major goal. The imminent little victory on the horizon is to record/produce another full-length album this summer and get my ass back to Europe as well as touring nationally to support the record.

Love Music: What motivates you to do your best work as songwriter?

Other songwriters. Discovering and rediscovering that sweet spot where the music flows through you like breath. That feeling of true connection and presence. Being able to share that is an epic gift and i take that very seriously.

Love Music: Did you choose this industry, as a career, or as a hobby?

Music chose me. It was a natural progression that led to this career as I have always been passionate about creating and performing.

Love Music: Everyone in life goes through adversity of some sort. Is there anything in your life that has any influence on the kind of songs you write? What is the most difficult thing you've had to endure on your path to becoming a musician?

Learning to truly love and trust myself the same way I love others. But that is just a human experience. I'm not sure how much it has to do with becoming a musician other than that I happen to be a musician.

Love Music: Everybody needs time out. What do you do in your free time?

I practice and teach Yoga which I love. I am a big movie fan and I love to cook for friends and family.

Love Music: How can people find you and follow you online?
