Pepper Gomez of Wake Up! Music announces the release of the Nu House single “Oh My Heart” featuring and introducing the next star vocalist, Tacboy! The track in itself is a work of creative births from many power players in the world of music. House DJ Ralphi Rosario was invited to remix the original track by Andrew Kitchen, who had initially invited vocals from House vocalist Pepper Gomez.
With synergy overflowing, Pepper loved the remix as much as the original and asked her son Tacboy (pictured below) if he could channel some Nu House vibes for the track. He brought the tune to a new level with his signature vocals, inspired by his artist heart and Jim Morrison. Ralphi Rosario and Craig J Snider aka The Shamanic created additional mixes and Joseph Salamida of Vanquish Studios completed the package. With mastering by Ted Jensen of Sterling Sound, the track jams and glows from the first note.

Zül-Qarnaįn’s melodic chorus implements Ralph Emerson’s “Black National Anthem”. The song is about self-love, reflections of the black experience and most importantly overcoming adversity in the celebration of identity.
Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education, music passion etc. ??
My name is Dayna Pleasant and I'm 14 years old and in my last year of middle school here in Texas. I've always love singing. As a smaller child I would sing in the car all the time, trying to sound like the singers I heard on the radio. I started taking formal singing lessons about 5 years ago, which led me into wanting to dance and act as well.
Q: We been hearing a lot about you and your music so we notice you're starting to gain a lot of attention how does it feel?
Honestly, it was weird for me at first. Before this song came out, I sang all covers so people knew I could sing, but it was different when other people are now singing MY song. But now its really cool to know people are feeling that way about my music as they do some more well known singers.
Q: Can you please tell us more about your new Single "Kill My Vibe"?
I got to work with an amazing writer, Candice Pillay on this song. She wrote this song to be fun but to also have a message that anyone can have good time even if you are by yourself. We did a music video that also tried to show how each of us sometimes have opposing sides to ourselves...introvert and extrovert and that it is ok to have both.
Q: What motivates you to do your best work as a Singer?
When I'm singing, I really want to show others that they can be confident in themselves. This is really something that I can relate to because I was a super shy kid and still can be even today. So being my best helps me with my confidence and I want to inspire others like me to be confident as well.
Q: What are you working on now and where do you feel your music is headed?
Right now I'm working on my EP. My goal is to create songs that when people sing them, they feel like it is their song. When they feel like that, the message will sink in that they are amazing all the time.
Q: What are your future plans in acting? Your vision for the coming years.
I have landed a small role in a movie that is scheduled to be released sometime in 2022, but I would love to keep growing in my acting skills and one day land a lead role in a feature film.
Q: At what point did you decide to become a professional singer?
Honestly it was my first time in the studio where I was preparing for a showcase and I was recording my own background vocals to cover songs I was going to perform. I spent 2 full days working on this and a few original songs and just had a great time. That was really the first time I thought I could be a professional singer because I really enjoyed what others have called "work"
Q: If you could perform anywhere, in the world, where would it have to be?
It would amazing to be invited to perform at Coachella one day. I watched a few shows about some of my favorite artists performing there and crowd was hyped for their performances.
Q: Everybody needs time out. What do you do in your free time?
I pick up my phone and binge watch my favorite shows on Netflix. I'll also check out Tik Tok videos too. Mostly just trying to relax.
I was very bored last night and randomly started listening to the album 'Awkward Silence' by Ex-Okay on Spotify. I want to say the whole album was just so lit. All songs on this album were just amazing and rocking. Rock Band from Salt Lake City, Utah have five songs in their debut album. The first song that I use to listen to was halfhearted. Honestly, say this song was rocking and take you in the party mood. It just turned my mood from boredom into a party mood. The second song was IN REGARDS, and I want to say both songs were just a rocking spice combo. Then I just heard this song. IF YOU ONLY KNEW WHAT I KNOW, this song was just crazy..this piece was a bit relaxing with rocking flavor. The following music from this album was HONESTLY. It indeed turns your mood. The musical instruments, especially the guitar and drums beat, hit me so hard. Memories, song start from this album begins with the soft guitar beat soothes my mind, and the singer's voice starts with the smooth guitar beat soothes my mind, and the singer's voice was just unique. It feels like you are in heaven. It just takes me to the heaven world. It feels another kind of peace when I listened to this whole album .the next song was the eternal line. I fall in love with this song just because all the things in this song were perfect. The lyrics, music, and instrument's best use were terrific, and everything from this song was so lit. Piano from the song ABREA was helping to soothes up my mind. The starting of the singer with the piano was trying to make me feel relax. The melodious voice of the singer was so heart-touching. This song is what you need to listen to when you want to feel calm, and when you are alone, it just hits you so hard. Although, the Whole album is love, and I genuinely recommend listening to this at least once you will automatically fall in love with the unique track. honestly, say that I am just in love with this album.
