I'm Real, don't keep my feelings a secret and I mean what I sing. Oh and I have a Kick Ass Drummer.

Right now we are anticipating our TV Interviews "The Arts Interviews" along with "Music With Purpose" both are really AWESOME shows and were blessed to be apart of them!

Well it's me My Luna Guitar, and Mike Colonna on drums. We're a small but effective band, that pours our hearts out every time we touch the stage.

I can eat 1000 pancakes before i need a glass of milk.

Well the place I wanna perform most, I am performing at in September at the Historic Ritz Theater.

Love Music : Do you set goals for yourself and how do you do that?
 
Wolf Critton :

I don't actually, I believe in here and now.

Love Music : What motivates you to do your best work as a musician?
 
Wolf Critton :

Inspiration comes from life, my best work comes out when I'm angry.

Don't be discouraged by the word no, keep screaming until someone hears you.

A Quick Catch-Up with Phillip Foxley - A Famous Guitarist/Songwriter

Love Music recently interviewed an Famous Guitarist & Songwriter Phillip Foxley, from the UK . He first picked up a guitar in the 1970s, playing clubs and bars. Over time, he found himself in studio sessions, house bands, and writing music for TV and film soundtracks.

With influences like Snowy White, David Gilmour, Mick Ronson, Leslie West, Gary Moore, Foxley has now released his own debut EP entitled "I'll try 'till I die". An eclectic collection of original blistering blues rock guitar and soft acoustic and piano tracks written over the years. Foxley says "Every track on this album means so much and every note is from my very soul" ...

Love Music : Let’s talk a bit about your profession and what is the secret behind your success ?

Phillip Foxley :

Well I don't know about 'success' but I enjoy writing, playing and producing original music. It's such a buzz to hear a track on one of the internet radio stations or when someone takes the time to get in touch with a question or just to say that they like (or dislike :-)) a particular track.

Love Music : Please tell us about your debut EP "I'll try 'till I die" ?
 
Phillip Foxley :

Ok, this debut EP contains a collection of tracks I've written over the years so it's like my musical life story. It's also a 'big' EP in that there are over twenty tracks on it already and, because I don't intend to release and more albums, I just keep adding tracks to it. The earlier tracks have a poorer mix and production which I kept in as a mark of the childlike mistakes I made whilst learning the recording process. I realised quite earlier on that studio recording requires such great technical ability and talent that I simply don't possess, so I now have the greatest respect for all the unsung sound Engineers and Producers out there.

Love Music : How you feels when you first picked up a guitar in the 1970s?
 
Phillip Foxley :

At first, the guitar was alien to me in that when listening to artists/bands on the TV on albums, it looked so easy to play - how wrong I was!
However, after a while, I got used to making a (loud) noise with it (much to the annoyance of my neighbours) which eventually turned into sort of recognisable sounds. Then I gradually began to master cover songs and instrumentals before realising that it was such a versatile instrument as I gravitated into writing my own songs. 

Love Music : What's your fav. Song?
 
Phillip Foxley :

Tricky question because my favourite song tends to be my latest one :-). However, I think 'The Place' with vocals by Tony Pappas is probably my overall favourite so far. Tony really brought this track to life with his superbly strong vocal and interpretation. This one is played really loud in my car.

Love Music : Do you set goals for yourself and how do you do that?

Phillip Foxley :

Not goals so much but I do find that an idea will come in to my head, either naturally or by playing a new chord sequence or melody. Once that happens, I try to capture it as soon as possible.

Love Music : What motivates you to do your best work ?

Phillip Foxley :

This is simple - hearing other artists perform on my tracks. For example, Tony's vocals on 'The Place, Anna's vocals on 'I Don't Mind!' and 'Promises' and Eve's vocal on the acoustic version of 'Promises, last but not least, Nachum's vocal on 'I Don't Want To Go!'. All these artists brought my songs life which I could not have done on my own.

Love Music : What hidden talents do you have?

Phillip Foxley :

None that I know of.

Love Music : Tell us about your achievements as a famous songwriter/guitarist ?

Phillip Foxley :

As I mentioned earlier, I feel proud and honoured to hear a track on the radio, also some of the superb and very generous reviews I've received from some of the established music media. I'm also particularly pleased with making the April 2016 front cover of Jamsphere Magazine.

Christina Grimmie Dies After Bieng Shot At Plaza Live Theater Concert Orlando Florida

 Former star of The Voice Christina Grimmie was shot, and injured after an Orlando Florida concert Friday night, by an unidentified suspect who was found dead, police said. Grimmie was attacked at around 10:30pm, at the Plaza Live theater while she was signing autographs. She was shot by a gunman outside of her concert on Friday night (June 10) in Orlando, Fla. She was taken to hospital in critical condition. Christina was greeting fans outside of the venue when she was reportedly shot multiple times. Her brother was by her side and tackled the gunman, who then shot and killed himself. Christina later passed away in the hospital due to complications from her injuries.

Love Music condolences to her loved ones during this difficult time..  After this sad news of Christina Grimmie‘s death, celebs are remembering the talented singer on Twitter.

Great Conversation With TJ Leonard- A Famous Swedish Singer & Songwriter

Love Music recently interviewed an Famous Swedish Singer & Songwriter TJ Leonard, he got his first guitar from his grandfather when he was eight. He taught his grandchild to play Swedish folk music and evergreens. Soon TJ was introduced to pop and blues through his cousin that was a little bit older and played in a famous swedish pop band. At eighteen he became lead singer and guitar player in a dance band. A lot of genres passed through TJ:s life. Jazz, hard rock, gospel, soul/r&b but not until country music came along it felt like home.

Love Music : Let's talk a bit about your music and what is the secret behind your success ?

TJ Leonard : 

It depends on what you mean by success. I can see that my music has been known to people when I look at the charts but I don't feel that I have success. May be it's because I live on the wrong side of the Atlantic :) I get a lot of publicity in the US and some in Europe but here in Sweden there's only a few that knows about me. I't getting better and better though. I've made a couple of guest appearances with other artists and got some attention because of that :)

Love Music : At the age of eight, you got first guitar from your grandfather, so was your grandfather your teacher ??

TJ Leonard : 

Yes you could say that he was my first teacher. He tought me all the songs he used to play with his band. Some were jazz standards translated into swedish and folk songs. From the beginning he was singing and played the mandolin and I played the guitar but later I took over the singing. We didn't perform on stage at any time, only at our family gatherings. Every time I visited my grandparents we played all those ol' songs. At the very end he couldn't play that mandolin so he just sat there listening (he was blind) to me and I guess memories from the past time were running through his mind. I really miss him.

Love Music : Please tell us about your latest & most famous single "The River " ?

TJ Leonard : 

It's a song about me and my friends growing up in a small village in the south of Sweden. There's a river running through the village that is famous for its big salmon and sea trouts. We spent most of our time by that river for many years and had many adventures and met anglers from all over the world. From the age of 15 I worked in a fishing shop and tied most of the flies that we sold. 
 

Love Music : Where would you most like to perform?

TJ Leonard :

The CMA awards or the Grand Ol' Opry LOL! Hey there's nothing wrong in having a dream right? :)

Love Music : You choose music industry, as a career, or as a hobby?

TJ Leonard : 

I have a regular job that puts food on the table and I hardly earn any money at all on the music so I guess it's a hobby then. I wish I could spend a little more time on stage and in the studio but I don't want to quit my job. I meet a lot of exciting people and since I write lyrics about the life around me the inspiration wouldn't be there then.

Love Music : How do you feel when you become a Nominee for Awards ?

TJ Leonard : 

It's a great feeling of course :) I feel proud and blessed that all that hard work paid off. In September I will attend the Josie Music Awards in Nashville and that's the first time for me so it will be exciting.

Love Music : Do you set goals for yourself and how do you do that?

TJ Leonard :

  I used to do that but when you put the family life first it's difficult to reach the goals you've set. I write the songs and produce them when I have some time left. Therefore the process is kind of slow right now.

Love Music : Tell us about your band that you started with Tex Taylor, in 2010 ?
 
TJ Leonard : 

From the beginning the purpose was to get together once a week and play just for fun. After a while we sounded quite good and we got nominated to Swedish Country music championships. We didn't win though but it was fun. Most of the guys have families and one after the other dropped off and was replaced with full time musicians. Tex got a job that required most of his time and I was the only original band member left so I decided to go solo instead. We had a great time playing all those country festivals and now I look upon that time with a smile :)

Love Music : Any tip you would give to other musicians?

TJ Leonard : 

When you do something, put your whole heart in it regardless if it's music or something else. Sometimes things won't go your way but sometimes they will. Eventually you will find out what's working for you.

Love Music : Let's talk a bit about your music and what is the secret behind your success ?

Ed :  

Music is everything to me and has always been. The secret to my success is I'm not trying to be something I'm not. There've been so many artists that we are all influenced by but we will never be them. We can only be ourselves. This is one of the hardest things and yet at the same time the easiest thing to do. The continual perpetuation and belief in yourself is crucial. There maybe times you feel like giving up but you can't because there's a reason why you're doing this. Art is reactionary and we make it because we have to.

Love Music : What hidden talents do you have?

Ed  : 

I like talking in different accents and strange voices and it's something I've always done to entertain family and friends or even myself on long-distance journeys. Always levity. Even in the darkest circumstances you can find a little bit of humor and this is what keeps me going as a person. I’d always love to do a cartoon voice over for a cartoon character if the need should arise. It's a little hidden dream of mine.

Love Music : How do you feel when you are nominated for Awards ? And when you win an Award ?

Ed :  

Winning awards is a wonderful feeling and receiving acclamations is very important. We artisans  do not always reap incredible financial materialistic rewards, so being recognized through music guilds and organizations is very important. 

Love Music : Did you choose the music industry, as a career, or as a hobby?

Ed :  

I really chose it is a form of self torture. Lol.
As I said music is my life and it encompasses a multitude of aspects in my existence. Long before I decided to try to make it a career I have always created music as a form of retrospective self help that has saved me from a multitude of moral conundrum's.

Love Music : What's your fav. song and why?

Ed :  

Music is geared towards emotion. If I'm having a bad day I may want to play something extremely aggressive. If I'm feeling love and I am enamoured in the moment, I may play something beautiful and sweet telling you terrible things. It's very hard for me to answer that kind of question because as people we are not supposed to be emotionally driven by one source.. That would be like eating hotdogs for the rest of your life.

 
Love Music : Do you set goals for yourself and how do you do that?

Ed  : 

Lately I've been trying to set a goal of not putting so much pressure on myself and worrying about every aspect of what goes on in my projects. I relinquished an incredible amount of responsibility to people that I trust and that are more than capable of servicing the songs requirements. When I do this things seem to flow that much easier. The goal is not to be such a control freak yet at the same time be a better captain..
 
Love Music : Tell us about your latest achievements ?

Ed : 

I've most recently been awarded three Josie Music Award nominations out of Nashville and it's incredible to be recognized for more of the work that I've done. Also I’m on the precipice of releasing my new album RED OMEN. It's wonderful that these albums are being picked up by licensing and distribution all over Europe and  the United States..

Love Music : What do you find most inspires you to do that work?

Ed : 

We as human beings are emotional barometers. We are continually being pressurized and decompressed by multitude of moments. This fluctuation is the catalyst for much of the artwork that exists in this world. I am continually being moved by these experiences and how they change me and make me stronger and hopefully a better animal..

Love Music : Any tip would you give to other musicians?

Ed : 

Work hard in practice your craft. Don't compromise the integrity of your emotional principles. Learn from others but don't be close minded when it comes to change. Always be yourself.

Women in society rarely have a voice. I feel compelled to voice her point of view. God blessed me with a gift and I should use it for those who can't speak up for themselves
