Interview with Mike Smooth2D

Love Music: You started your musical journey in the church in South Carolina. How did those early gospel influences shape your voice and artistic identity today?

It taught me vocal range and how to express my feelings through words .

Love Music: As a core member of 2Deep Inc., you helped define a regional RnB sound. What were some of the most important lessons you learned during that era?

I would listen to the other guys and try to be as good as some of them were so I guess you could say I took a piece of each of them .

Love Music: Your debut single “Gucci Coochi” ft. Breez has been gaining attention—what inspired the concept and vibe behind this track?

Gucci Coochi is when you have a woman that you're dating or seeing from time to time and she has a way of making you feel alive when you guys are together physically (Wink 😉😜).

Love Music: The title itself is bold and eye-catching. What message or feeling do you want listeners to take away when they hear “Gucci Coochi”?

When people hear Gucci I want them to celebrate each other's time together.

Love Music: As your debut release, how does “Gucci Coochi” represent you as an artist and set the tone for what’s to come?

My debut release of  Gucci hopefully gets the fans ready to enjoy RnB music again like it did back in the day when you couldn't wait to see that special person, the anticipation of Love Making or Straight Sexy Time .

Love Music: Your album “Lesson’s Love Taught Me” sounds deeply personal. What life experiences inspired the themes behind this project?

On my album Lesson's Love Taught Me it dabbles in some of my life's relationships most were bad I would say but some were good like the one I have now 😀

Love Music: What do you want listeners to learn or feel after listening to the album from start to finish?

I want the listens to take a good look at their relationships and just know that things will get better life goes on and if you're lucky enough you'll find that special someone.

Love Music: Looking ahead, what are your biggest goals as an artist, and what legacy do you hope to leave in the RnB scene?

My biggest goal is to put out classic music I want my music to touch someone out there that may or may not go through something in life so I guess you could say I'd hope to leave behind something people will love for generations to come.

Love Music: After years of group success, what inspired you to step into the spotlight as a solo artist at this stage of your career?

I never really thought about being a solo artist its just an opportunity presented itself so I was like ok why not ???And At this stage of my career this being my first solo project I just wanna put out great material as an adult urban contemporary artist and see how people vibe with me as an artist.

Love Music: Your music blends soulful roots with modern RnB. How do you strike that balance while keeping your sound authentic and fresh?

Lmbo I use young up and coming producers on my project the younger producers have great ideas and new sounds but I find myself always telling hey I gotta keep it rooted in Real RnB 🔥

Chasing Rainbows | Julian Tcherassi

Julian Tcherassi is a singer/songwriter who’s been playing guitar (classical, flamenco, rock) and composing for 18 years, and you can hear every mile of that journey in his new track “Chasing Rainbows.” His influences don’t just “show up” in the song—they collide in the best way, forming this rare blend of classical fingerstyle precision, flamenco strumming, guitar solos, and vocals delivered with authentic intensity. He’s also the founder of MagikTea, a healthy Palo Azul tea brand now in 1,000+ stores nationwide, which makes his story even wilder: this is a builder who already proved he can turn a dream into reality, and now he’s bringing that same energy to music.

https://open.spotify.com/track/2x44PdbAE7VLc4IIwugQgT

“Chasing Rainbows” is honestly unlike anything I’ve heard in a long time. It doesn’t sit politely inside one genre or chase whatever’s trending—it feels handcrafted, fearless, and alive. The guitar work is the first thing that grabs you: Julian plays with a level of control and aggression that’s rare, switching from delicate, intricate melodies to explosive flamenco strumming without losing clarity. It’s the kind of playing that makes you rewind a section just to figure out what he just played and enjoy it over and over again. Then the vocals hit—powerful, raw, and emotional—like the song isn’t being performed, it’s being confessed.

What makes the track special is how much motion it carries. It surges, it breathes, it builds; it has urgency. The message lands hard because the music embodies it: chase your dreams no matter what, because tomorrow isn’t promised, so you might as well give it everything today. You can feel that philosophy in every choice, from the rhythmic drive to the dramatic lift of the arrangement—passion and discipline in the same breath.

If “Chasing Rainbows” is your first introduction to Julian Tcherassi, it won’t be your last. This is the sound of someone who has lived the leap, paid the price, and came back with something to say—and he says it with a unique guitar & voice combination that is completely his own.

MusicGenerator.com Covering AI Music Platforms

MusicGenerator.com Launches as a New Independent Resource Covering AI Music Platforms

The rapid growth of artificial intelligence in music production has created a new wave of platforms promising instant song generation, AI-assisted production, and royalty-free background scoring. With innovation accelerating and new tools entering the market regularly, creators are facing an increasingly complex decision: which AI music generator actually delivers value?

A new website, MusicGenerator.com, has officially launched to help answer that question.

Positioned as an independent review hub, MusicGenerator.com focuses on analyzing and comparing AI-powered music tools across categories — from full vocal song generators to instrumental scoring engines and production assistants. Rather than promoting a single product, the platform aims to provide structured evaluations of the most prominent names in the space.

Reviewing the Leaders in AI Song Generation

Among the first tools covered on MusicGenerator.com are Suno and Udio, two platforms that have attracted widespread attention for their ability to generate complete songs with vocals from simple prompts.

Suno has gained popularity for producing structured tracks that include lyrics, hooks, and recognizable song formats, appealing to social media creators and independent artists experimenting with AI-driven songwriting. Udio, meanwhile, has focused on refining vocal realism and production polish, positioning itself as a more studio-quality solution.

MusicGenerator.com’s reviews break down each platform’s music quality, genre consistency, usability, pricing models, and commercial licensing considerations, offering a clearer picture of how they perform beyond marketing claims.

Expanding Beyond Full Song Tools

While vocal-based AI music generators dominate headlines, the AI music ecosystem extends much further. MusicGenerator.com also includes coverage of platforms like Producer.ai, which represents a different direction in AI music development.

Rather than generating finished vocal tracks, Producer.ai emphasizes beat creation and AI-assisted production workflows designed to integrate into traditional digital audio workstations. Its review explores how AI can accelerate creative processes for producers without fully replacing manual composition.

Additional reviews featured on the site include:

Boomy, known for fast track generation and simplified publishing options.

Soundful, which focuses on royalty-free instrumental music for creators and brands.

AIVA, recognized for cinematic and orchestral AI compositions.

Beatoven.ai, built around mood-based background scoring for video content.

Ecrett Music, offering scene-driven instrumental generation.

Soundraw, which provides customizable structure and section editing.

Mureka, designed for accessible AI instrumental workflows.

Mubert, specializing in real-time generative streaming and API integration.

By covering a wide range of platforms, the site highlights the fact that AI music tools are not one-size-fits-all solutions. Different creators have different needs — from full song generation to adaptive background audio for video or app environments.

Addressing Licensing and Commercial Concerns

One of the more complex aspects of AI music platforms is licensing. Subscription tiers, usage rights, and commercial permissions vary significantly between providers. For creators producing monetized YouTube videos, advertising campaigns, or client work, understanding these differences is essential.

MusicGenerator.com incorporates licensing discussions into its reviews, aiming to provide clarity around how AI-generated tracks can be used commercially.

A Sign of Industry Maturation

The launch of MusicGenerator.com reflects a broader shift in the music industry. AI music generation is moving from novelty to infrastructure. As platforms such as Suno, Udio, and Producer.ai continue to refine their models, competition is intensifying and feature sets are expanding.

In this environment, centralized review resources are becoming increasingly important.

MusicGenerator.com enters the conversation as a structured guide through one of the fastest-moving segments of creative technology — offering creators a clearer path through the evolving AI music landscape.

Darrell Kelley | Sick of This

Boston-born, Atlanta-based singer, songwriter, and social activist Darrell Kelley has released a powerful new single, “Sick of This._

Lyrically, “Sick of This” continues Kelley’s long-running focus on social justice and community uplift. The song speaks directly to cycles of violence in marginalized communities, urging listeners to put the guns down, recognize their heritage, and “start spreading love” instead of blood. Throughout the lyrics he ties pride in African and African-American history to a call for unity, imagining hugs and compassion where there are now headlines about loss, and framing love and solidarity as the true inheritance from “kings and queens” and ancestors who “gave us it all.”

The single is available on all major streaming platforms.

A performance video and official uploads on YouTube are already drawing views in the six-figure range only weeks after release, suggesting the message is resonating with a growing audience.

On Instagram, Kelley has also previewed lines from the track alongside a plea to “stop shedding your own blood” and choose love instead, underscoring the anti-violence stance at the heart of the song.

“Sick of This” follows a string of socially conscious releases such as “Drones” and “I Rebuke You,” which take on issues ranging from government accountability to police brutality. Together with those tracks, the new single reinforces Darrell Kelley’s profile not just as a recording artist, but as a spiritual leader and activist who uses modern gospel, hip hop, and R&B to call for justice, understanding, acceptance, and unity.

Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education, music passion etc. ??

My name is J. Street. I'm an underground artist coming to you from Deland Florida. Just doin me, not givin a damn how anyone else views it. Hip Hop has been my passion since about fourth grade. Finally picked up the mic in 2019. Been goin ever since.

Q: Your latest single - Who's Gunna Stop Me, Now?

In my creative process I was really just messin around with the beat until I found the right vibe. Making the beat seems to come a lot easier than puttin the words together, but thats where the fun is. Meanwhile, the song makes a statement: I'm doin what I do, ready or not.

Q: How do you stay creative and disciplined while balancing personal life and music?

Honestly, its hard to find that balance. So for me, its like a schedule. I put in this much time at this time of day and I make sure to keep up with that. Even when I don't feel like it.

Q: What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far?

Getting signed to Februaries Finest! Shout out to F2!

Q: What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next?

Honestly, I just want to make a comfortable living doing what I love. Making music and cookin food. As far as my career goes, my next goal is to promote my music in New York Cities Time Square.

Q: What motivates you to do your best work as a rapper?

The love of making the music is my greatest motivation.

Q: Did you choose music, as a career, or as a hobby?

Its always been a passion and dream, so its my career for sure.

Q: Your hit Song?

Oof..I don't know that I have one, but Ive always been most fond of "No Hesitation" Feat Dee Wile

Q: Are you active on social media?

I am most active on Facebook of all social media. I do have an instagram I haven't posted to in a while. Ive always found creating content to post to be the most daunting part of the process. Although, I know this day in age, thats what gets us heard.

Interview with Cairo Snow

Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education, music passion etc.?

I’m an artist who has been pursuing my craft for seven years, and I come from a extremely supportive Jamaican Canadian home that has grown me, shown love and helped me become who I am today.

Q: You’ve achieved international radio play across Brazil, the UK, Sweden, US, France and other countries. How did that happen?

It really comes down to having a strong team and staying consistent. My team believes in the vision and works hard behind the scenes, and I focus on delivering the best music I can. We treat this seriously, not like a hobby.

Q: Could you please let us know more about your new single “Seasons”?

“Seasons” is about feeling stuck in a loop like you’re replaying the same challenges over and over and wanting to break free from that cycle. It’s about growth. This song is about being stuck in that same patch and remaining determined to overcome.

Q: How do you stay creative and disciplined while balancing school, life and music?

I take things one step at a time. When I’m at school, I focus on school. When I’m creating, I lock in. If I feel overwhelmed, I pause and reset. Discipline is important to me because talent without discipline doesn’t last.

Q: What has been one of the most exciting moments of your career so far?

One of the most exciting moments was being at Scotiabank Arena during the Wu-Tang Final Chamber Tour in Toronto, when RZA pulled me on stage in front of 19,000 people. That moment felt unreal. It reminded me that the work I’ve been putting in since I was little is real and being recognized.

Q: What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next?

My next goal is to continue growing in music and reach more people with my message. I want to inspire others  especially young people to stay disciplined, stay creative, and believe in their vision even when it’s different.

Q: What motivates you to do your best work?

A powerful beat and a meaningful message. When those two things come together, it pushes me to create something special. I don’t just want to make songs I want to make music that connects and lasts.

Q: Did you choose this industry as a career, or as a hobby?

I chose this as a career. It’s beyond a hobby for me. I’ve had a passion for music since I was very young, and I made a promise to myself that I would take it seriously. I’m committed to building something long-term.

Q: What’s been your most successful song so far and why do you think people resonated with it?

“My most successful song so far is ‘I Should’ve Known.’ It’s received strong radio play and streaming support internationally. I think people resonated with it because it’s emotional and real. It speaks about reflection and growth  something everyone can relate to.”

Q: Are you active on social media?

Yes! You can find me on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram @cairo.snow where I share music, performances, and behind-the-scenes content

George Jacobs presents: Faith Over Fear

An inspirational rap and rock hybrid that turns spiritual conviction into confrontation with doubt.

On Faith Over Fear, George Jacobs treats hip hop not only as a vehicle for rhythm and rhyme, but as a platform for testimony. The solo artist leans into a blend of trap percussion, melodic rap, and alternative rock energy, framing his faith as something active and defiant in the face of anxiety and uncertainty. The track clocks in at three minutes, yet it packs a clear narrative arc that moves from reflection to declaration.

The song opens with a gentle string-based sample that sets a calm and reflective tone. This introduction quickly gives way to a modern trap beat, where crisp hi-hats and steady kicks underline George’s delivery. His vocal approach shifts between rhythmically tight verses and more melodic lines, giving the track a sense of motion without overcrowding the arrangement. The production stays deliberately lean, leaving space around the voice so that the message remains the focal point.

Lyrically, Faith Over Fear is centered on devotion to Jesus Christ, and on the idea that belief can override intimidation, doubt, and spiritual paralysis. George writes from an openly evangelical perspective, pointing toward salvation through Christ and emphasizing that faith is both evidence and anchor in unseen realities. Rather than hiding this behind metaphor, he keeps the language direct, which reinforces the sense that the track is meant as outreach as much as self-expression.

Although George Jacobs describes his work as inspired by the Holy Spirit rather than other artists, listeners familiar with early 2000s rap rock may pick up on a kinship with acts like Linkin Park, especially in the way melody, spoken cadence, and heavy rhythm intersect. In the end, Faith Over Fear stands as a concise statement of belief from George Jacobs, pairing contemporary production with a clear spiritual call.
