Check out the interview :
Love Music : Tell us a little bit about The Feedbackers, its background, its achievements etc. ??
The Feedbackers : The Feedbackers pretty much started out when Renaud, Jorge, and Mike were playing for another singer. We had a few original songs we always played but we never really found our sound and had never explored it in depth. Mike seemed to think they may be in need of a lead guitarist to freshen up the sound.
This past January, all three of us went to see the same Muse show, some of us twice, and Antoine happened to be at one of those shows. At the end of the concert, Antoine admitted to Jorge his longing to be in a rock band, and Jorge took this shining opportunity to invite Antoine, without his (or the band's) knowing to a Feedbackers rehearsal. Needless to say opportunism seldom produces moments such as these, as it was beyond fruitful.
Since then we've played at the Emergenza semi-finals at L'Astral theatre, have organized and produced events at venues all over the city such as Hemisphere Gauche, O PatroVys, and La Sala Rossa, featuring dozens of local bands ranging wildly in genre.
Love Music : We been hearing a lot about The Feedbackers, so we notice your Rock group starting to gain a lot of attention how does it feel?
The Feedbackers : Feels great! We love playing for any crowd, and a crowd who loves hearing us play really gets us motivated to make the next show even more wild.
Love Music : What are The Feedbackers working on now and where do you feel your music is headed?
The Feedbackers : Currently we're working on our first official release, The Feedbackers EP, set to drop on December 3rd. We're having a release party at Piranha Bar the night of the 3rd, and we have all kinds of great music lined up for the night. It'sgonna be a hell of a show!
We don't have any specific intentions with the direction of our music. We really love what we write and how we play it and don't have any intention of slowing that down. There's no set pattern when we plan out our music, we feel it out as we go. For us it doesn't need to have a specific style or genre, as long as it sounds like us and we truly love playing it, we're good.
Love Music : Who are your musical inspirations ?
The Feedbackers : It's all over the place, really. We all have different backgrounds, so one day it can be Red Hot Chili Peppers and Muse, the next it's Rage Against the Machine and Deftones.
Love Music : Become the Day is the new composition by The Feedbackers so please tell our readers more about it ?
The Feedbackers : It was one of the first songs we had worked on as our current lineup, and we instantly found a connection between us when we put that together. It was right from the beginning when we just found Antoine, and it became just so simple and clear what we had to do to make this song what it is now. It's always one of our favorites to play live, we had so much fun recording it. We love that song.
Love Music : At what point did you decided to make this Rock group?
The Feedbackers : Earlier this year, actually. At the time we were only a three piece, and we were only starting to examine our own original music closely. When Antoine came along we really just dove headfirst into it, and haven't looked back since.
Love Music :If you could perform anywhere, in the world, where would it have to be?
The Feedbackers : There's so many places to choose from that it makes this a difficult question. We'd love to play anywhere they want to hear us but if we had to pick one, Wembley Stadium would have to be the one.
Love Music : What motivates The Feedbackers to do their best work ?
The Feedbackers : Honesty. We all know what we want from the song, each one of us just has a unique approach to get there. Sometimes one person's idea just works in the mix of things, sometimes it clashes with another, but we are always honest about how we feel, and more importantly, no matter how we feel about it we give it at least one try to see if we like it. Most of the time it's 74 tries and we love it more every time, but nothing generates better music than how open we are about what we feel the song needs.
Love Music : What are your future plans to singing ? Your vision for the coming years.
The Feedbackers : For the coming years, we'd have to say there's no set destination. We kind of look forward by examining what we've done and topping it.Going for bigger. Always looking for the next thing we want to write/ perform. We love reaching higher goals so we'll probably just keep pushing that boundary.
Love Music : How can people find you and follow you online?
The Feedbackers : There's a lot so I'll just list them out:
